Bundesliga, DFB Cup, and other Bundesliga business 2014/2015

Textbook Kagawa there. He had a good half a second to get a shot away and tried to pass it in the box. Just wellie it ffs!

Starting to feel kinda sorry for the fans, a mass exodus in the summer is looking more and more likely!

What's Weidenfeller and the players doing? BT Sport went to break.

Took them to the last few minutes to create. Poor.

Penalty on Kagawa.

Out of the players playing now, who would you want at United? Genuinely?

Hummels? Gundogan?

Actually Gündogan. He ist able to adapt. Yes, he still needs time after being out such a long time - but he is a fighter. I watch him since Nuremberg. The problem with him are just the injury problems. Tactically he still has to learn a lot but he will.

Hummels only if he has a very fast and relieable partner.

Weidenfeller climbed up the perimeter fence to try and rally the fans. Hummels went over and joined in talking to the fans. The rest of the players and Klopp were on the pitch looking shell shocked.

Fans that were angry btw. Seriously, not seen anything like that before.

So Smalling and maybe later Jones? A honestly don't know many CB's who are as good as Smalling, but also have his physical ability, especially his pace (I know there are better defenders, don't get me wrong, but I don't think that any of them is as quick as he is).

Y'know, part of me wonders if Hummels might stick it out at Dortmund next season if they do get relegated. That's not the type of action you do as a player if you are intent on leaving in the Summer. Massive props to both players there.

Hummels and Smalling would make a great partnership, in the injury room.

It's simple really isn't it?

Mikhi - not good enough
Aubameyang - not good enough
Immobile - not good enough
Sahin - not good enough

Gundogan - not match sharp
Reus - not match sharp

I honestly can't remember the last signing for Dortmund that looked good. Perhaps Jojic, but the rest of them have been very ordinary.
Surely these players are good enough to atleast be midtable.

Klopp will be thinking now why he didn't leave for United in the summer.

I am shocked I will be devastated if they go down, but something needs to change and it might unfortunately be the manager.

I am blaming mad winger who rediculously suggested in the summer how Kagawa was joining a much better club than United :wenger:

Tuchel would be the right successor for Klopp, wouldn't he? They should act soon.

You have to bare in mind that by selling Lewandowski they sold their lynchpin in attack. He was the focal point for all of their attacks, Auba isn't good enough to be a starter for Dortmund he showed that last season. Immobile was brought in and has failed to acclimatize to German football. So therefore all of the attacking responsibility falls on the shoulders of Reus. Their creative engine Mikhi isn't good enough either, I thought he was bang average last season. Jojic looked honestly better. I have no idea why Jojic is out of favour at Dortmund though.

As for being midtable, you'd be surprised at how good German football is. I know the table doesn't represent it because Bayern are leagues ahead (although not recently) but the German league has improved imo. If you aren't at the races you'll get beat.

That's what I thought too... But I simply can't see Klopp getting sacked/resigning.

He was claiming that even after they were sitting in the relegation zone. "He did join a better club, they were better when he joined them than us, so I was right", or something along those lines. He was just the worst, although it'd be funny to see his stance now. I imagine it would be around twelve paragraphs long and telling us Shinji is great still.

Crazy what's happening to Dortmund though, they might actually get relegated, baffling.

So what has genuinely happened to dortmund this season and why do they keep losing? A mixture of bad luck, injuries and key players not performing? Even then, you wouldn't be bottom after 19 games. No idea what it will take for them to improve.
