Bundesliga, DFB Cup, and other Bundesliga business 2014/2015

Jerome still in beast mode. Absolutely love him at the moment.

And what the feck Schalke  Prince with a 2nd yellow and Draxler a straight red? What did Draxler do?

How the hell did that happen? Can't wait for Sportstudio.

Boateng fouled someone from behind and saw his second yellow. Nothing nasty or anything, just incredibly dumb.

Draxler went down after a challenge and (slightly) kicked Zambrano as he walked by afterwards. Again nothing nasty, but a red card that was a clear as it was stupid.

Paderborn is top of the table right now  . Who would have thought that before the season started?

A draw at home against Hamburg is a horrible thought. We need another last minute goal.

A draw against this Hamburg is a horrible thought in any case.

Only one sending off in the first the matchdays, now three in one game.

And what the hell was Neuer doing there?

Good god, it's become reality. 0:0 against Hamburg and it's not like we were dominating them either.

That was a hilarious finish to an awful awful game.

I also don't understand why Shaqiri wasn't allowed to leave. Makes no sense for him or for the club.

Stoppelkamp with the 2-0 to Paderborn with a shot from just outside his OWN BOX! Pretty sure that's a new record.

How was that not a red for Neuer though?
Why should it be a red? It's a handball somewhere in midfield without it being a direct goalscoring chance? It's always a yellow?

Because the goal was empty!?

Remember how Kahn never got reds for his antics, only yellows?

My stream lagged right when they showed the replay of that so I don't actually know how bad it was but I'm guessing goalie's don't automatically get red cards when they handle the ball outside the box. Perhaps he wasn't actually the last defender so it'd normally be a yellow even though there was no goalie in goal.

By the way how are none of you talking about the goal by Moritz Stoppelkamp? Did you not see it or what? Incredible, I won't spoil more if you really haven't seen it. But don't miss the highlights of the Paderborn match for that alone haha

Of course not, it's always a yellow unless it prevents a clear goalscoring chance. Of course that rarely happens because few goalkeepers are as crazy as Neuer and play football in midfield, but it was obviously the case here with other Bayern players around the ball, the Hamburg player never in control of the ball and no clear shot on goal.

Hamburg is dreadful. They cheered every throw in like they had won the Champions League.

To be honest, we didn't deserve a win, but Hamburg didn't deserve a point either. Now they are going on about how they started to fight again, but honestly, it was nothing but kicking around and running like mad. Their squad is still pretty shit and their offensive is non existent, without a new striker (and a new OM) they will go down this time. Especially of Paderborn can keep up their pace.

That sounds like Beckham and Simeone. Similar?

basically yes, but Draxler looked straight at him before he 'kicked' him, so there isn't even a shadow of a doubt about whether or not it was intentional.

That point was very well deserved, did you even have a clear goal scoring opportunity?

No 100% clear ones, but there have been some deflected. As I said, we probably didn't deserve a win, but you can't honestly think that this has been an improvement or you deserved this point? There has been absolutley no build-up play at all by HSV. It isn't like Zinnbauer had some genious plan either, his only plan was to bring 11 players behind the ball and pray to god that Bayern wouldn't score. It was amazing.

They showed a great mentality for 90minutes and defended disciplined without making any mistakes bar the one when Müller fecked up. How is that not a significant improvement to Hamburg's form so far this season?

What do you expect us to do? Attack with all our players whenever we can? It was obvious from the start that we'd focus on our defense, just like 90% of your opponents do. And in the end it payed off, we got a point against FC Bayern München. If that is not an improvement, I don't know what is.
