Bundesliga, DFB Cup, and other Bundesliga business 2014/2015

Bittencourt sent off. Dortmund looked completely lost, but might actually have a chance to win the game now against 10 men. Wouldn't be surprised if they continued to create feck all though.

Excellent movement and assist by Reus.

Kagawa scores. Was it the first time he touched the ball in those 60minutes? I can't remember him being involved in anything so far

Damn, thats pretty efficient, complete opposite to the first season half.

The assist by Kagawa was absolute class, though.

Crazy matchday. Freiburg takes the lead against Augsburg, Stuttgart turns the game around and leads 2-1 against Frankfurt. Paderborn - Hoffenheim still 0-0, but Hoffenheim got a player sent off.

Only Bremen is winning, fantastic for Dortmund if they still want to play in Europe next season. @gofelx is probably crying, because it's awful for Hamburg. They are only 2 points away from last place and are 16th right now and if Paderborn wins the game, they're 17th :D.

Dudziak not looking bad at his professional debut, although the game flow clearly favours this. He is still our biggest homegrown talent in a long while and could present a possible internal solution for some of our fullback problems.

There are times when I hate my own team so much... ffs....

So, so lucky for Dortmund . Their own game and all the other results.

Seven games without loss in the row in the league, 17 out of 21 possible points, third (I think) best defense in the second season half based on conceeded goals. Impressive numbers, but boy, was that unconvincing...

I still don´t know how we won that game.

Bittencourt deserves some praise. You should trigger the buyback clause in the summer and give him a raise.

To be fair, he was arguably the most active offensive player of Hanover before getting sent off. The way he worked the left flank up and down could actually be something we could use next season given our extreme lack of width right now. The fouls (at least the second one) were pretty stupid, though.

Yeah, he was excellent. I was really impressed with him. Then he got himself sent off and instead of punishing you, he gave you the advantage to win the game. Like I said, deserves a raise from Dortmund ;).

I would really not be unhappy if we would bring him back. His clause is not that high and he would make our offensive midfield less one dimensional. Him and the returning Jonas Hofmann, who was pretty unlucky with injuries this season but impressed me when he played with his smart and accurate passing game, would actually be enough for me in that area. In turn we can get rid of Großkreutz (lost his drive imo) and Mkhitaryan (still a lot of potential but simply delivers not often enough) to generate some cash for much more needed positions (GK, FB, DM/CM).

There is a lot brewing under the surface in Dortmund, if you want to believe sources close to the club and read between the lines. I´m expecting perhaps the biggest shake up in the era Klopp, definitively since 2009. For years we tried to keep the team together and develop further, but it becomes more and more clear that big changes need to happen fo rebuild a successful side. Because of that I´m actually torn about wanting to reach the EL via the league.

No one watching Schalke vs Leverkusen?

Papadopoulos prior to his injury was a really promising defender. But now... That Leverkusen defence is always so in danger to get a red or yellow-red...

Leverkusen 1-0 Bellarabi. Deserved lead

Just tuned in. Was Sané that poor to be subbed off before HT? Certainly not a positive sign in terms of psychology towards such a young lad.

How the hell isn´t that a back pass by Toprak?

no apparent reason for the substitution. Sane was better than the Hunter.

The co-coach of Schalke just said it was tactical, but then it was a stupid move by Di Matteo to do it before instead of during the break. Substitutions before HT are usually seen (both by fans and the media) as punishment for the player if he is not injured.

How have sules and Ginter done this season?
Ginter has been a huge disappointment so far in my opinion. But then, who hasn't in this Dortmund side this season.

Do you mean Niklas Süle with 'sules'? He tore his ACL at the beginning of December, not sure when he'll be back. Probably won't play again this season.

Schalke getting robbed. Not that i mind (karma) but clear back pass and penalty against Leverkusen not called

Yeah meant sule of hoffenhiem, oh that's a shame. Rated both very highly and sule was impressing at the start of the season from the little I have seen of him.

Am hoping Ginter gets a chance next season if Hummels and subotic move on.

Höger still being on the pitch and Leverkusen not getting a pen for that foul ten minutes ago speak against it. Gagelmann is simply shocking all around this game.
