Dortmund are the second worst chance converters in the league and it took them barley more than 8 minutes to show why. Amazing.

Not much teamwork and cohesion going on with Dortmund at the moment. It's direct and positive play but it's always falling short near the goal, often because it's reliant on one man making the drive at the end. Mainz continuing to break well when they launch their attacks.
That Mainz player just went through the left hand side of Dortmund, as if they weren't there. Shocked at the state of Dortmund.
Good Veron-esque volley from Kagawa there. Tough ask to get that on target given how high the ball was with that side volley. Difficult technique. Another decent chance gone begging though.

Dortmund's season is going as bizarre as ours last year. They should be 2 or 3 up here, but of course Mainz scored with their only shot on target. Nothing is going their way at all.
He looks a headless chicken to me... Whenever I see him. And I do not know if he has the speed he needs in that league for an offensive midfielder.
Watching another match? When Okazaki would have been a step faster it would have been 2:0. It is not always shots on target that are dangerous - especially shots on targets that are predictable for the goalie.

Weidenfeller is such a liability. It's always like this, one shot on target and and one goal. He never wins them any points. Cech should have been a priority for them last summer. Probably hard to blame this goal on him but a bigger presence could have caught it or punched it to the flank.

Probably yeah, genuinely can't remember Okazaki's chance. Anyway, Reus, Aubameyang and Reus again missed sitters you simply have to score, I haven't seen anything like that from Mainz.
You'd do well to first ask who @ItsEssexRob has put a bet on!
Oh come on, you're only saying that because the commentator said those exact words when the scene happened. Not only would Okazaki have needed multiple more steps to reach that low cross as it wasn't that close to him at all, but also Dortmund had various chances that were way better than that scene with Okazaki you're talking about.
