Bundesliga, DFB Cup, and other Bundesliga business 2014/2015

YEESSS! Had Aubameyang as the next scorer. And just as a little spice I have 200 dollars on a Dortmund win.

Kapino :wenger: Guess they are missing Karius after all :lol:

This game is exactly what they needed. They overcame the typical defensive blunder and horrible start, kept their compusre after Mainz equalized and now sealed the victory. Add to that Reus' contract and his good performance and you got a pretty perfect match/week for them.

Is the comeback truly on?

Looking good for two wins in a row, watch out Bayern :p

Damn Auba couldn't keep his footing there.

I really like the move of putting Aubameyang up front. Never really liked him coming over the right, he just too limited in the build up play but up front his pace is really working well so far.

He improved because there is more space in Mainz defensive end. I think he is more suited for a counter attacking team. Even so his finishing after that amazing Reus pass deserves praise

I think his acceleration helps him actually find even a bit of space for himself with very little space in behind him. He also seems to be much better at this running onto the ball thing than Immobile is. It just feels like he is more suited to Dortmund's attacking game than any of the other strikers they have right now. Of course he doesn't have the hold up play of Lewa but Dortmund's long ball game seems to work best with him up front atm.

He made a blunder on the last Dortmund goal but Kapino has done alright. Denied 3 clear goals from Dortmund.

Dortmund out of the relegation zone at the moment, rejoice! Klopp third best manager in the world again and Dortmund for the Champions League. Oh they just beat Mainz.

Well done Dortmund. First comeback win for them this season. Hope they can now stabilize a bit more in defense and make a push back towards the top half at least. Still getting the 40 points that will most likely prevent them from going down should still be the first objective.

Good win for Dortmund. If they can follow it up with another win next Friday in Stuttgart (there's a good chance, Stuttgart will still be bottom of the table then), they all of a sudden look relatively safe again.

@Sphaero
Is Weidenfeller back in goal for good? Or was Langerak just out because he traveled with Australia to the Asian cup?
