leverkusen have extended the contract with their indeed quite sensational AM karim bellarabi until 2017.
A bit of a short extension it seems. I mean it's almost 2015. How long did the original contract run for?

Responding to anyone with the phrase "your arguments are also stupid" without further explanation has always been a sign of real maturity and knowledgeability. I also applaud your wise and finely phrased portrayal of the Bundesliga.
Even in a cold night in the Britannia?

Well it's proven that premier league players have bigger dicks than German league players.

or he is maybe a replacement for this idiot

Well it looks like someone cares about how a player behaves off the pitchThat's just a BS article. No one really cares how a player behaves off the pitch as long as he performs and no one cares if players live in their club's city or nearby. Tbh Gelsenkirchen is one of the cities with the worst reputations in Germany (financially/culturally), so I don't think officials really blame players for living in Düsseldorf, which offers a lot more for rich people.
Stindl also isn't the calibre of player a club like Schalke would buy as a starter.

Yep he has said that.Didn't Dutt get bored after 6 months working as a director of football for the German FA and told everyone that he has to work as a coach and needs to work directly with the players? All of a sudden he's back in that role at what looks like the most chaotic club around these days. Well done Stuttgart, sounds like a brilliant idea.
. I wouldn't rule it out that he becomes interim manager with 5 or 6 games to go this season, if Stuttgart still is deep in the relegation battle.Yep he has said that.
He'll replace Stevens in 9 months.
Neither Götze nor Lewandowski are struggling. I'm not entirely sure what kind of performances people expect from us. Our attack is incredibly well balanced and the goals are shared almost equally between a number of players (Lewandowski, Götze, Müller and Robben). There's no way Lewandowski can stand out in our team the way Aguero does at City for example, that's the nature of our tactics and the quality we have in attack. The same is true for Götze, who excelled at Dortmund when the game completely ran through him. That just won't happen when Robben and Ribery are carrying the ball forward down the wings.Gundogan, getting even back to 80% of his best would be an immense signing.
That last bit is quite interesting. Never thought of it that way. Sahin, Shinji is who I'm guessing "failed". Lewandowski and Gotze aren't going too badly, are they?
I haven't followed Bayern in the Bundesliga much but always just assumed Lewa isn't a Pep type of forward and that he would struggled. Maybe @Balu can drop me a PM Don't want to derail the thread.

Regarding Sahin. He was never really that good, he had one great season at Dortmund but at the same time always failed to perform for the Turkish nationalteam, which says a lot. He was unlucky with injuries at Madrid and god knows what Rodgers thought when he played him out of position all the time, but I'm not really surprised that his stupid decision to go to Madrid hurt his career. Kagawa is a different story, it's really weird what happened with him.
Gündogan was often excellent in a completely different system in the nationalteam and I wouldn't be worried about his quality if he leaves Dortmund. But so far he hasn't been back to his best and it's difficult to say if he's really past his injury for good and can regain his previous form. There's definitely some truth to it that Klopp got the best out of his players, but I don't see why another top manager can't do the same.
I'd say we played our best football so far in the following line-up:Is he an automatic starter in your strongest XI? For that matter, is Gotze even?
Balu!
Thanks for the write up, and the time man. Appreciate it. I was more curious to find out how the 2 Munich guys were doing tbh. I haven't watched any Bundesliga. and to be honest, I've never been the biggest Gotze fan. Whenever I have watched him, I've hardly seen what the fuss was about - but I obviously watched him mainly in the UCL, and if (almost) everyone else rates him extremely high - I'm in all probability the one who is wrong.
And I agree with Bayern's style of play. The goals are spread well, which is a good thing, because if you lose any one of your attackers (injury, suspension etc.), the team doesn't lose much, if any, quality or goal threat. I think Lewa would probably have scored more, from an individual POV, had he gone to Chelsea/City etc. But at Bayern, he's fulfilling more of a team role etc. Is he an automatic starter in your strongest XI? For that matter, is Gotze even?
The strongest XI looks probably different whoever builds his team. Depends a lot what tactics Guardiola plays and if it is 3 or 4 "strikers" (Guardiola calls them this) out of Ribery, Robben, Lewandowski, Müller and Götze.
A big question is if he puts Lahm and Alaba back into a fullback position if everybody is available again... 3 or 4 in the back etc. I guess it is not really a paradise for Guardiola if everybody would be available for a longer time...
Amazing options!I'd say we played our best football so far in the following line-up:
------ Lewandowski - Müller ------
-------Götze ------------- Robben
Bernat - Alonso ---- Lahm --------
---- Alaba - Boateng - Benatia ----
------------- Neuer --------------
But it's impossible to say what exactly our best line-up will be if everyone is fit. Since Lahm and Alaba are injured, Götze often played in CM next to Alonso and Ribery returned on the left, but it never looked as great as the 334 above. Now Schweinsteiger is back as well. If Martinez and Thiago return in time for the run-in, it'll be even more difficult to pick the best line-up.
Supposed to have a release clause for around 30m that can be triggered from 2016 onwards. It's still a good deal, 30m for a leftback is still a lot and he's definitely staying next season.Ricardo Rodriguez extended his contract until 2019. Good news for Wolfsburg even though there's most likely a buyout clause in the contract.
Hany Mukhtar from Hertha will sign for Benfica in July. Has been confirmed. Benfica tracking german market pretty intensively with links for Gerhardt from Koln and Karius from Mainz. Is he any good?
Difficult to judge as he didn't play a single Bundesliga minute yet. The coach didn't use him at all this season. He was a starter in the U19 Euro team though that one the cup and he scored the winning goal iirc. I think he didn't really see a future at Hertha and left, not sure if he'll be able to play much for Benfica just yet.
Benfica bouth Kevin Friesenbichler from Bayern's U23 last year, too - and then they loaned him to Gdansk... - they are a little bit like Chelsea... Bargaining on talents.
Thanks for the info mate. If he is good, he will play. Benfica have just announced that they will take Sporting's approach of promoting players from their academy because of financial constraints. So no more fund backed big transfers. From what i read in the portuguese papers he was hightly rated on the german youth ranks, that's why i asked. They also have one or two more bundesliga players under radar. Curious who they are.
.
Btw is Djuricic rated highly over in Portugal? Mainz loaned him from Benfica this year. He reminds me of our loan Ola John last season, to say he's underperformed would be an understatement.
Djuricic looks good technically, but he really can't cope with the level of speed and physicality required.
Marcell Jansen is a big Benfica target too
I think Rodger Schmidt is making a mistake long run if he wants to offload Drmic, especially in favor of keeping Kiessling.
