Absolutely crapping it and loving it!
it's the miss of the fecking century.
I get the feeling that Götze fell into the celebrity trap a little to early. He seems to care more about his commercial appeal than playing football, there's no more joy in his game at the moment. I hope that changes soon.
I don't believe that. He has been really calm and mostly out of the media since his move to Bayern, he's not making a fuss if he's benched, he rarely gives interviews. There's nothing celebrity about him at the moment, at least not more than it was before the move to Bayern. It's just not as easy to come into that treble winning team and play with the same joy and confidence he did before, especially because his first year was constantly interrupted with injuries. I'm not the slightest bit worried about him. There is a good reason why Klopp and the other officials put so much effort into shielding him from all the media hype and attention. He was not ready for that transfer, especially in terms of character.
Not really surprised about it. He's too young and too talented to be a squad player. He's not even close to be first back-up, he really should have pushed for a move this summer, makes no sense for him to stay.Shaqiri looking for a transfer, I can't explain it otherwise. He looks like half the player he used to be, like he genuinely doesn't care.

Still disappointed by his lack of vigor. If you want a transfer, play yourself into the limelight!
It's a bit Pep's fault, too, because I see no reason whatsoever why Bernat starts in front of him. If he trains like he plays at the moment, I can understand it, but in terms of quality Shaqiri is well ahead.
Judging from 95% of today's game, neither does Bernat. It's just sad to see Shaq play like this, I really like him, but if it's like this we should probably say goodbye before it gets ugly.
Quoting won titles doesn't really work for judging a player's form, neither do scorer's, really. On average, he looked much worse than when he lit up the world at Dortmund, can't sugarcoat that. He's young enough to turn it around, of course, so lets hope he does it sooner than later.
The best right wing of the world!
But WTF! Why is Gaudino soo good? Great game and still 17. I never heard so much praise about him to get the idea of such a player.
Great surprise. The body must have taken the next step.
He really came out of nowhere, but that's not that unusual if you're not medially hyped as others who start out at lower tier clubs and then join a big club when 16 or something. I've never heard anybody talk about Müller either before he magically showed up. Lets just pray that Gaudino can boast a similar carreer path when he's 24.

Just caught the second half after Bayern scored their second. Dante was woeful with the ball and looks extremely one-footed. They need a ball playing centre back who is comfortable on the ball and can bring the ball out of defence, especially in a 3 man defence and they will really miss Martinez in this regard. Wolfsburg also looked really threatening down the flanks and penetrated Bayern's channels and flanks rather easily. Is 3-4-3 really the way to go? I heavily doubt it...
I thought Bernat played an excellent game tonight, a huge improvement compared to pre-season. Don't know what makes you think he lacks the necessary match intelligence to be a Bayern player.
I don't think that, I just felt that Bernat was not part of the game at all in the first half and stretches in the 2nd. It was just a response to the claim that Shaqiri's problem is match intelligence when I said that I wouldn't start Bernat in front of Shaqiri (when in form and actually trying).
I don't think you can fault him too much for not getting involved enough. He was pretty much left alone on his flank all game, with Götze drifting centrally and Lahm, Robben, Müller attacking on the right. And he was good in defence all game.I don't think that, I just felt that Bernat was not part of the game at all in the first half and stretches in the 2nd. Benetia
Badstuber won 17 of his 18 duels...
And Bayern lost goal when he lost his duel?
I think one more goal and he's matched his record for Dortmund in the league. How many goals did Schieber score for Dortmund in the past 2 years? It can't be many. Has he already equalised his record at Dortmund in his first game at Hertha with those 2?
