I get the feeling that Götze fell into the celebrity trap a little to early. He seems to care more about his commercial appeal than playing football, there's no more joy in his game at the moment. I hope that changes soon.

Sorry. He had the around the same scorer numbers at Bayern in 13/14 as Nemyar with Barca. A big injury and a deep team doesnt help you. He had a good season overall, specially with the world cup.
And he is 22 this season. But if winning 5 trophies and having 30+ scorers with club and country is that bad I take it. He was 21. Some really should put it all in perspective.

Quoting won titles doesn't really work for judging a player's form, neither do scorer's, really. On average, he looked much worse than when he lit up the world at Dortmund, can't sugarcoat that. He's young enough to turn it around, of course, so lets hope he does it sooner than later.

Lahm and Gaudino are the best player so far. Thats pretty impressive.
The graphic is fine, but in reality its not really a back 3. Lahm plays a weird hybrid role. With enough time it becomes a back4 in the defense. Alaba helps out, if Bernat is too offensive and drops between Badstuber and Dante. Lahm is playing almost the role of Badstuber and Bernat combined, which is really confusing.
That was my interpretation of our formation after the 1st half.

I spoke way too soon when I said game over earlier. Wolfsburg have improved big time since going 2 goals down and Bayern are getting very nervous.
While it worked in the first half, the back 3 is back to being a complete mess now. It's a miracle Wob can't punish us.
