Bundesliga, DFB Cup, and other Bundesliga business 2014/2015

What a weird week, on that rate I can see Bayern sacking Pep, HSV sacking Labbadia to get Pep or Klopp, Bayern hiring Tuchel and Klopp to piss Dortmund off, HSV annoucing Labbadia is the manager again.

 Dortmund probably just learning what it feels like to be HSV. Now Tuchel might be waiting to see whether he can get that Bayern job in the summer. If he drags this out another two months, he´ll have Angela Merkel´s job. :D

As far as I understand it, the whole medical team has resigned.

Full meltdown mode!

The doctors.
Medical unit
Dr. Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Kilian Müller-Wohlfahrt Team doctor
Dr. Lutz Hänsel Team doctor
Dr. Peter Ueblacker Team doctor
Prof. Dr. Roland Schmidt Internist, cardiologist

I do not know how far the medical team goes and if it might include physios or parts of the physios, too. When Bolt is in Munich he works with the Bayern physio Fredi Binder - who is somehow part of Müller-Wohlfahrt's team, too. But only the doctors were mentioned in the press release.

Oh - Bayern's starting lineup tomorrow will be interesting.

Lahm has the stomach flu and will be out. Götze and Alonso got knocks in the Porto match.
Nobody returning from injuries.

meltdown from Dortmund fans would be unreal if that actually happened.

Let's face it like this - the meltdown with Bayern fans would be much bigger...

And - it would never happen as long a Sammer is in Munich...

Guardiola is fielding the next fullback in midfield...

...............Neuer (C)
Weiser - Badstuber - Dante - Bernat
.................Rafinha
............Rode......Gaudino
...................Götze
.......Müller...............Lewandowski

substitutes:
Reina - Alonso (has not trained yesterday), Thiago, Pizarro (just decoration?), Boateng (had to quit training after 10 minutes yesterday), Kurt (U19-player that just came back from injury)

------------------

No Reus in the BVB line-up.

Maybe we fire Pep tomorrow and sign Klopp for the next season. That would fit nicely into this week.

Do you think he would actually take the job at Bayern? I know it's an attractive job for every manager to be a Bayern manager but given the history of the two clubs of the last 6-7 years I'm not quite sure if there isn't too much bad blood between some people at your club and Klopp.

Thiago injured or being rested?

I was joking. The relationship between Bayern and Klopp over the last few years was very tense, not comparable to the 90's with Hitzfeld at all. There's zero chance that Klopp would want the job or that Bayern would offer him the job.

Thiago injured or being rested?
I think he's rested. He just returned after a full year without football and played twice in the last 7 days. It would be madness to risk too much too soon with him.

Cheers, thats what I thought but with his injury record wasnt sure.

Thiago is probably the only one that gets rested who could play.
Alonso got a knock against Porto and was not in training yesterday.
Boateng stopped training after 10 minutes. Probably muscle problems again.
Even Kurt - the 19-year-old on the bench - came back from injury and just has played a couple of minutes this week as a substitute in the U19.

It is really the last rest. And usually it is the time of the season in which about all of the "first" team should be getting atleast parttime rests. In the treble season we had nearly a full B-team playing Saturdays.

People complain about the severity of injury problems in Football Manager but Bayern show that it's actually quite realistic. :p

The story about it is that four weeks ago we thought that there would be luxury problems later as it seemed like everybody would be fit now. That their might be problems as not all of the stars could be fielded in the starting formation and some would have to be on the bench...

Everybody was fit - Lahm and Thiago short before their comeback - only Martinez in rehab.

Four weeks later...

Damn entertaining 0-0 between Frankfurt and Gladbach last night, Kramer and Herman stood out for Gladbach, not Xhaka's best game though.

Calhanoglu set pieces are absolutely lethal. Great delivery for Torpak's goal.

Dante is a walkin catastrophe nowadays. The next horrible blunder. Thank god for Neuer.

As much as I like him, Dante has to go. He's not even half the player he was 2 years ago.

And that, my friends, is why Rode should have started for Alonso weeks, even months ago.
Splendid goal!

It's a shame that Rode has to sit on the bench so much and watch disaster waiting to happen Alonso play.

Some goal by Rode. 2-0 Leverkusen now too. Great run of form. Class from Brandt.

Bernat off at halftime? Another injury? Why don't we just play with our 2nd team on Tuesday

If Rode doesn't start on Tuesday, someone needs to slap Pep.

Rode is putting in a shift. If Alonso starts ahead of him again against Porto I'm done with Guardiola. For good.

Edit:
Stop reading my mind Balu!
