Bundesliga, DFB Cup, and other Bundesliga business 2014/2015

Good Bayern game. The team does its job.
I can take the start in 2015 as what it is. One bad game against a great team(1:4 against Wolfsburg), one CL tie, where we had the game in our hands and then Xabi made a mistake(still all fine there) and a very good run in the league for nearly 4 games now. With 10 men against Schalke we bossed them.
Give Frank,David and Holger playing time till the 2nd CL league and the 2nd part of the season can go into full gear for us.

Paderborn's keeper should have picked an open stage for his new comedy act. What a clown.

Well done by Weiser, though.

Weiser scores  . Paderborn really should go down this year.

Leverkusen in complete choking mode

Conceded a last minute equalizer by the oposing GK (!) and were even saved by the post right at the end.

Was that goal by Hitz the first goal by a GK with a shot out of open play in the history of the league?

The only goals by GK I remember out of open play were headers.

Classic Leverkusen.. the tradition of choking at that club is shocking.

Arjen is on Ronaldos and Messis level.
He is in goat mode.
24 scorer in 24 games for Bayern.
He just gets better...wonderful.

This Leverkusen hating gets really annoying here.
Augsburg is a very tough team and modern keepers can play football, if some have missed that.
What did this club to some here?
Why not just be happy about your team, why all this negative crap.
That never helped anyone.

I think you forgot to mention a couple of superlatives there.

Who is hating Leverkusen? Any team would be laughed at for choking so hard every year.

Messi has 52 of anchan's "scorers" in 29 games, Ronaldo 47 in 27 games. Not entirely sure if 24 in 24 means a lot in that context, as brilliant as Robben plays at the moment.

Oh and as funny as Leverkusen is, Schalke bottled it as well

Robben is the best bald player in the history of the league. 24 scorer points more than hairs on his head. GOAT.

It's making the chase for Top 4 very interesting.

Schalke and Leverkusen are doing their best to give Dortmund a shot at CL football after all.

Gladbach could open a 4 point gap to 4th place with a win tomorrow, that would make it very likely that 2 out of Leverkusen, Schalke and Dortmund miss out on CL football next season. Crazy.

I don't really rate Gladbach's performance thus far for 2015, they've been pretty lucky with all their 1:0 wins.. So if they don't improve significantly four points won't mean all that much.

Schalke will definitely make top4 imo: they are very solid at the back and as always they will manage to somehow score their goals for some dirty wins. Unlike Gladbach and Dortmund they also have the luxury of being able to solely focus on Bundesliga.

Leverkusen seems to be sliding into a crisis right now, I also think they lack a bit of quality and depth, imo it's more likely that they'll be fighting for EL rather than CL this season.

Dortmund is kinda hard to predict, they've had some ridiculous runs in the past, but for them to make top 4 it'll take their best shape, a streak of luck in critical situations and a lot of help from Gladbach/Leverkusen/Schalke. It's possible but right now I see them finishing in the EL ranks.

 wow just wow.

Always nice to see that I can get to you. ;)
Have fun with football these next weeks.
I will and so can you. Its not so hard. Believe me. You can do it.
Start with being nice. Always helps. Less stress because of hating.

And I take my Arjen before Messi and Ronaldo. Everyone his opinion. Right? You heard about that? ;)

Big, big win in the derby. Geis again magnificent, Malli and de Blasis with a really good game and finally some defensive solidity. Frankfurt's only threat was Aigner down the right and we made some adjustments and shut them down completely in the second half. More pressing and direct attacking too, which was good to see.

We need to keep it up and increase the gap to the relegation zone over the next few games.

If Hamburg really wins the scooter derby then a win on Saturday will put Dortmund truly back into the race for top4.

Why won't Hamburg go down  . Stuttgart might though, annoying club as well.

because they simply have too much money and by now they have gotten used to the relegation battle

The truth is that Dortmund is useless. It has nothing to do with money, it's all Dortmund's fault

Just 9 points away of a CL place
Who the feck isn't in the Bundesliga at the moment . There's a good chance that Stuttgart will start a 5 game winning streak next week and fight for an EL place soon enough.
