He's got a good left foot, don't know why he doesn't trust it more. I guess it's getting into that crossing position in the first place he doesn't have full confidence in when on the left.

If anything it's the delivery with his right that's very hit and miss. Tends to smash everything without thinking on his strong side.

Unfortunately plenty of players want to use their favourite foot all the time. Bruno is a good example. So many times he tries to play the ball with the outside of the foot and he fails because of it. Its very frustrating to watch when they arent even trying to use the correct foot/technique and then they produce a poor effort.

He has been generally poor recently but I thought he was excellent yesterday and gave Liverpool loads of problrms over on that left side.

One game. Let's see if he's decent in the next 3 as well. He always had this odd very good game, but without consistency it means nothing

It starts with one game though. Its been blatantly obvious for close to 3 weeks he and Mazroui have been playing the role like they were in a back 4 as compared to Amad or even Antony. Vs Liverpool their positioning was higher, more aggressive and in attack they consistently attacked the space ahead of them. There is no doubt om my mind a week of traning aided in it.

The proof will be in the pudding in the next match though.
