Bundesliga, DFB Cup, and other Bundesliga business 2014/2015

Lmao, pretty good stuff. And now someone call the Bundesliga boring. End to end game.
You clearly didn't follow the Hummels thread recently. Slow build-up and boring games is the national trademark in Germany. Very rarely you see end to end games.

Just to remind everybody...

Bremen was 18th on matchday 16... with 14 points

6 matches - 16 points

Matchday 22 - 8th with 30 points

I love watching the Bundesliga. I´m often here commentating various matches (with la liga or epl on). With the notable exception from Bayern games (well i´m sorry Balu)

I get it, don't worry mate. Our awesomeness can be a bit overwhelming, it's not for everyone. Great that you enjoy the league though ;).

What the feck . Beautiful defending/scoring. Not sure what to call what Vierinha was trying to do there.

 I actually liked Bayern and went to the old Olympic stadium with the german husband of my father´s sister. But i couldn´t overcome the 7-1. It was too painful watching it live. I was at the allianz arena and just remembered this

Naldo and Knoche are good CBs but Wolfsburg doesn't offer much protection for them. In games like against Bayern you can see that the players in defense aren't the issue if the whole team does it's share of work too.

One of the few happy memories from the Klinsmann year. I'm very thankful to Sporting for giving me that. Much appreciated.

Oh, believe me I did. Can´t lead, can´t organise, slow as a snail, horrible in the air, yada,yada...

I learned to choose my battles, though and sometimes its simply not worth it, especially when it comes to people rating players or even whole leagues by watching games every blue moon.

You have to ask yourself what is going on in this league. It´s so damn close that Bremen might actually snap up the last CL place by the look of things. Bremen and Dortmund coming back and going straight towards the European places would make some great story lines.

It would also mean that your annoying team wouldn't give Hamburg a lifeline next week, so go and fecking do it!!!

Oh well, our games vs. Hamburg is one of the mysteries in the era Klopp. Similar to our now even record vs. Schalke despite being the better team for the majority of the last seven years.

Anderson Polga will forever be in my heart... how much would a Sporting jersey with his name on it cost me?

Anyway, the Bundesliga is clearly dead. Two horse race (I don't watch the games so I can't tell you who the 2nd horse is) with a bunch of nonames that aren't going anywhere and play slow retro football. We should probably just shut the whole damn thing down.

Bad Dost will score a hattrick in the 2nd half and Wolfsburg will win the game 5-4 . Or something like that.

Well, we can´t do that, can we? Where should the poor players go? Too dumb for the tactics in the Serie A, too clumsy for La Liga and too frail and slow vs. the real men of the EPL. We are just lucky that the British juggernauts aka "the mighty six" are so merciful and don´t care enough about Europe so we look slightly less bad there. But these are indeed dark times for Bundesliga...

You can always tell that you saw the first 18 minutes of this young guy on international ground and his first goal. That was before van Gaal.

And his first ball contact...

Hey! It won't be cheap. Like Boateng, Goetze, Lahm, Schweinsteiger and Muller, Polga too is a World Champion. Was just not very good at football in Europe

Posting gifs from that game is really mean, poor @Sly

Moutinho scored an amazing goal kinda like Rossi in their own drubbing against United. A pity those goals will be forgotten

That gif should have been shown times after times to our FA before they had the genius idea of appointing Paulo Bento.

As entertaining this game is, it certainly shows some really poor defending.

Maybe they can play for some french team. As far as we know, the 6 french teams that actually exist are mostly run buy oil money, nobody knows how they play or who plays where exactly and in the end we don't care. Kinda like the Bundesliga, except they have more top teams. Even Hummels the old sloth could carve out an existence at some midtable club over there...
