He doesn't need to hear that from a complete nobody.Does the truth hurt him that much?

Guy behind the phone is clearly a bell.
Well played by Garnashers, now go out there, control the ball, shoot and pass it better. That'll learn him.
I think.
What hill? Why would I try to get any response when I'm just voicing my opinions.Such a bizarre hill to die on. I can’t help but feel you’re trying to get the same pointless reaction on here as that guy was at the stadium.

I don't understand your response at all. I don’t think the fan's comments were particularly outrageous or abusive, so Garnacho's reaction feels childish(again, for me). If the fan's remarks were immature, then Garnacho’s response seems equally immature. Is it that hard to just ignore what that guy said and just show it on the pitch?
It's just funny to me as he appears to be a bit stung by what seems to be nothing more than constructive criticism.
Fair enough. It's just that I would expect the coaches to be saying similar things to him behind the scenes, so it’s surprising that a fan’s comments stung him that much to evoke that response. He doesn't need to hear that from a complete nobody.
Alright mate. You do you.I don’t believe you, and the fact that you seem to be incessantly replying to everyone on this thread is quite telling.
Do you honestly think that this fan knows better than professional coaches like Ruud, let alone the player himself? It’s preposterous.Telling what he's doing badly and what he can improve does seem constructive to me.
It wasn't a quick comment though was it? He was clearly trying to provoke a reaction.Fair enough. It's just that I would expect the coaches to be saying similar things to him behind the scenes, so it’s surprising that a fan’s comments stung him that much to evoke that response.
I don't think it's any different to what we've all been saying here for weeks anyways. If you don't think that's constructive, then fair enough.
He’s a cnut, and he ruined it for the kids around him as well as Garnacho clearly wanted to get out of thereClassic bit of journalism there from the guy who's regularly on Goldbridge's channel.
No, but that's part of what I'm questioning. Is he hearing that from coaches? If so, it should sting him as much as it did in my view. Coaches should know what he should be improving upon and I'd expect it to be something similar along those lines(we've been discussing the same things for so long on here).Do you honestly think that this fan knows better than professional coaches like Ruud, let alone the player himself? It’s preposterous.
True, but receiving criticism from Van Nistelrooy and top class coaches is a little easier to stomach than hearing it from this guy.Fair enough. It's just that I would expect the coaches to be saying similar things to him behind the scenes, so it’s surprising that a fan’s comments stung him that much to evoke that response.
As if you wouldn't get annoyed if some absolute moron shoved a camera in your face trying to tell you how to do your job when said moron didn't know how to do your job.Needs to grow a thicker skin if that offended him. There was a lot of truth in what was said and he wasn't really abusive etc.
Of course it's not constructive criticism, he's trying to get a reaction. Hence the bloody camera.I don't think it's any different to what we've all been saying here for weeks anyways. If you don't think that's constructive, then fair enough.
Anyone who is part of or operates a toxic fan channel deserves being given the cold shoulder.
Garnacho isn’t immune to criticism but going after the most productive player in the team is absolutely weird.

Yeah, Planet Faz is his channel. He used to be on The United Stand too.Does he have a fan channel then? That would explain a lot; he’s after clicks,
Well most of the CAF claims they know more about the ills of United than the professional manager we just sacked, so who k owsDo you honestly think that this fan knows better than professional coaches like Ruud, let alone the player himself? It’s preposterous.
Unrelated I'm sorry but does Garnacho's brother look like him? Seen Garnacho (obviously wasn't him) strolling round selfridges today in shorts without a care in the world and was struggling to believe it actually wasn't him.
I think there's another way to look at this. We the fans are the consumers of the product. We are the customers buying the product. What hill? Why would I try to get any response when I'm just voicing my opinions.

You forgot ‘score a goal, yeah’.
I wouldn’t mind if they had just said something valid like ‘pass more/stop being so selfish’ because he’s been unbelievably selfish recently and fans are allowed to say stuff that’s fair in my mind. But to follow it up with the sage advice of ‘score a goal’ just shows he’s a moron. Can't stand people like this prick holding the phone
Agreed that guy was clearly a knobhead and anyone defending him is also in that boat.Garnacho handled it well.
That's a matter of opinion. In my opinion he is doing incredibly well for a 20 year old. He has been scarily good.A small correction. He's doing his job terribly. Hence the criticism. If he was performing well, no would say anything about him.
