I think he's lightweight.

There are times when he's done the defender for outright pace but the defender is able to do enough with body strength to stop being beaten.

He is only 20 but he doesn't physically look any different to his U21 days to me. Don't think he's quick enough to be so light.

If you can get shrugged off the ball by a defender, then you haven't beaten them for pace. This is what I'm getting at about his pace not being good enough; he isn't fast enough to beat players, and he lacks the strength or technical ability to make up for it.

He's very fit, that's the one area in physical terms he excels, but other than that he's lacking in all areas physically.

I know this isn't your statement, but the idea that he's "plenty fast enough to beat his man" is obviously false, as he's one of the worst players in the league in terms of success rate when attempting to do just that.
