GTA ONLINE: GUNRUNNING - UNDERGROUND BUNKERS, MOBILE OPERATIONS CENTERS AND WEAPONIZED VEHICLES
To thrive as an arms dealer in GTA Online: Gunrunning, it’s going to take more than street smarts. Choose your supporting vehicles and armaments wisely for your best chance to outwit both the feds and any rival dealers. Start moving weapons to eager buyers in Los Santos or Blaine County to earn a tidy profit and tap into powerful new upgrades, modifications and heavy duty weaponry. Here’s a deeper look at just a few of the potent new tools at your disposal in Gunrunning.
Everything begins with a Bunker: the massive, underground hub of your new enterprise. Any CEO, VIP or MC President can jump start their promising career from here to get operations off the ground.
For heavy duty tactical operations on the move, arms dealers can invest in a Mobile Operations Center (MOC), the kind of powerful support usually enjoyed only by trained assassins or rogue nuclear states. Storable in your Bunker, this drivable command center’s modular construction allows for tailored combinations of vehicle workshop, weapons workshop, luxury living quarters, and command center – with facilities for upgrading and customizing your arsenal and modifying Weaponized Vehicles (including turrets for your MOC that can be manned by your squad) – all at your fingertips, and pulled by a fully customizable commercial semi.
Weaponized Vehicles are a brand new class to stock and customize. Build a fleet to cover every eventuality: from the ultimate utility of the fully amphibious, canon-toting APC, to a mobile anti-aircraft trailer that’ll have pilots soiling their cockpits across the state. Weaponized Vehicles can also be employed as company assets instrumental in delivering cargo to any drop-off.
Beyond manufacturing your stock to sell, reap the benefits of your Bunker’s white coat staff by allocating their time to Research and they’ll get busy unlocking a range of optional upgrades including unique personal weapon modifications, a whole range of brutal tech for your Weaponized Vehicles, and terrifying upgrades for your Mobile Operations Center.

@Levo @Marksy7 @Big-Red @DatIrishFella @Duffy @Damien @One Night Only
See what the dealio is. Not too sure about heists but that could change.
Do you even need an answer to this???£30 on store now for this, do I buy it for a 3rd time?
It's on sale now according to @Marksy7 so think you should pick it up bStill not got the game.
Anyone up for doing some of the Gunrunning missions? Once you complete them then you can buy the vehicles for their reduced prices, but each of the missions is for 2-4 players (and matchmaking is never good!).
Will be on tonight if anyone else is...

... Levo doesn't even have the game ffs
Severe Weather Patterns: As someone who enjoys driving quite a bit, this one was appreciated. Usually people in special/weaponised vehicle missions are scrambling to get to the driver seat(s) but in this one my co-rider was happy to be the passenger, shooting at stuff. It's too bad that these buggies are just as likely to spin out when bouncing around on the sand as much as the regular version.
Verdict: Good stuff for people who love the off-road experience.
Half-Track Bully: While it went fine for me and my temporary teammate, this mission made me a little nervous. Firstly, I was taking damage as the driver so while getting the Duneloader out of the area where we stole it and up to the other road I had to fill up my health and armour which can be annoying while avoiding traffic and obstacles. Secondly, I was a bit worried about my gunner being exposed. Nothing went wrong though, and I suspect that just like with the Series A Funding - Weed set up mission, the gunner is rarely targeted? Expecting that to be different with free mode NPC's.
Verdict: Not that exciting in my opinion but at least the vehicle was showcased properly.
Exit Strategy: Ended up sitting on the trailer for this one and I gotta say, they're indulging us here. If you like blowing up vehicles this is one helluva mission you gotta play. So many helicopters spawning all over the place. And if you run out of those or can't be bothered to wait for them to get in your line of sight (depends on your driver, I guess) you can shoot at a bunch of police cars chasing you. Simple fun.
Verdict: Stress-free explosive fun. The airport is always a great place to go big with weaponry and it lends itself perfectly for this little scenario.
Offshore Assets: Not really my favourite but it was kinda fun. My gunner seemed somewhat clueless. One of those guys who starts firing non-stop as soon as they get control of a vehicle weapon only to prove that they're no good at it when the enemies actually show up. Still, no deaths. He was confused about the item pick-ups that were underwater. We'd cleared the boat of enemies and I pulled over (??) besides the boat to go for a little dive, leaving one item for him in case he wanted the full mission experience. Bumbling about, I came back up and noticed enemy vehicles coming in. No better time to pull out my recently upgraded MKii heavy sniper rifle. What a joy it is to take down those choppers with a single shot. Teammate went swimming for the second item and we delivered the APC without any problems.
Verdict: Vehicle gun seems underwhelming but that's okay seeing how sturdy the APC is. Mission is nicely made with a stealth option that I unfortunately couldn't explore because of my trigger happy gunner.
Cover Blown: Oeh boy, not a fan of this one at all. I love driving. And I love driving trucks in GTA (at least in V) but this mission is not a lot of fun for the driver. Even if your front gunner does a good job of taking down the enemies, all the enemy vehicles on the ground seem to have but one goal: crash into you with no regard for their own well being. This isn't new to GTA:O ofcourse but in this mission it can have severe consequences. Trucks dragging trailers along at high speed don't always deal with this too well. One time I tried to avoid a blown Mesa and ended up putting the MOC on its side. Managed to flip it back and get moving in time before they locked on to us. The size of the trailer also makes it a tiny bit more difficult to control the cab itself as you can't see the thing turn without manipulating the camera. Better drivers won't be bothered by this but I was.
Verdict: Rather pointless mission as it seems to be some sort of introduction to the MOC? Maybe not for people who join (not host) the mission and haven't seen the beast in action yet. The suicidal NPC drivers are annoying, boring and old though.
Mole Hunt: Fun mission if you don't have a teammate (or three, I guess) constantly annoying you by shooting at your Tampa. Anyway, it's easy to miss the interesting part where the rogue agent reveals himself if you happen to be on the wrong side of the search area when that event is triggered. Tampa seems capable enough but at least on that standard version I couldn't help but notice the small flaws of the three weapons. Won't go into that because I haven't bought and customised one yet. But regardless, it's powerful stuff that makes minced meat out of the enemies. Getting chased? Spam the mortar like no tomorrow. Enemies straight ahead? Rockets up their cakeholes. Anything else? Shred 'em with the guns. Not looking forward to getting explosive sniped in free mode with what is apparently a glass cannon, though.
Verdict: Nice demonstration of the guns. Perhaps slightly misleading as I have read that the Tampa isn't as tough (armour-wise) when you buy it?
Data Breach: This is my personal favourite at the moment. With just one teammate this all felt just right. Drive up to the tunnel entrance, pull up inside after killing the first enemy to leave behind my Insurgent. Go down the path while killing more enemies and steal Mesas to drive through the tunnels, past obstacles and straight to the bikes. Leaving the subway tunnel was literally a blast and taking to the skies on a two wheel vehicle was great.
Verdict: Easy mission with a fun vehicle. Hard to fail. It also uses one of my favourite areas in the game for objectives: the underground tunnels.
Work Dispute: Close second place in my opinion. Also the rocket bike. Lot more use for the bike in this mission as you're going around blowing stuff up, but whereas the previous mission was very straightforward (literally) you have to move around a bit more in this one. I messed up on Terminal by escaping from an Insurgent but going the wrong way and not getting the bike back on land. Good thing they give you some bike respawns in case of silly mistakes like that. After that I still had some trouble controlling the vehicle but managed to take out the enemy MOC while my teammate respawned after he had been ambushed by a group of NPC's. Flying over the countryside is also fun, gotta watch that fast landing though.
Verdict: Lots of space to try out the Oppressor. Might catch the careless player like myself offguard here and there what with the much easier mission preceding it, but still a lot of fun gliding around on a motorcycle of death.
Good news!I've brought the game again so I'll be up for it. Not sure where I am in regards to money an cars yet as it's still downloading.
