I've gotten back into this recently (Xbone). Always had about 1.5mill in the bank. Helping mates with their CEO tasks and got up to 2mill fairly quickly. Wanted to generate money to enter the CEO game myself, decided to sell most of my cars - roughly 20+ odd I've had for years. Made at least 6mill from it 
possibly more as when I was picking what cars to keep, I also upgraded those to the max in the performance and looks department.
I still have like 12 cars, and I now have them all in my CEO as I bought the garage add-on. I tend to use only a handful all the time anyway or my Buzzard! took me the bones of 2-3 hours to do

Yeah. Don't think we've had a proper session since Christmas but that can be changed.

I got over the fad of wanting all the latast cars a while back thankfully - hence the money was never spent and built up. I don't really do a lot of races, or never had, so swapping between my Zentorno and Adder is still fun and gets me around the map handily. Kuruma armoured is also a favourite of mine. Bifta and a Brawler for off-road, The Roosevelt, Sterling GT and Z type I couldn't bear to sell those bad boys. Some random fast bike also, and a random fast 4 seater I had before the Kuruma armoured came around. That's all I'll prob ever need in the garage.
I stopped playing the game around the Heists. Just got frustrating that myself and friends couldn't get 4 of us on to do al lthe stages, it's why CEO thing is actually good as you can build up your warehouse in your own time and without having to rely on having a full crew on.
Started playing this around Christmas, and what a game it is. I used to play the old versions as a kid (1,2,3), but had almost forgotten how good Rockstar is. Lovely game, if anybody is playing the PC version i'm 'therealabiz'. Perfect to escape reality
I sold most of my cars a while back - probably have about 10 now I think. Would be good to get back on it. I actually wish you could do the Criminal Mastermind challenge repeatedly - even if you got $5m instead of $10m for repeated goes. Would still be a good challenge.
For anyone who hasn't done that - thats the best moneymaking option in the game (providing people don't die....)

Was getting a bit bored so set up a second account which was modded, had a load of fun 4 or 5 days before it got took down ha
My original character is strong so it's not a major loss
What does it mean to be modded exactly?
I gave someone 20 odd quid, they made an account on PS3 with 200mil in the bank, which I linked to my social club and transferred to XboxOne.
Thought it would get banned straight away but I can spare 20 quid so it was worth the risk.
Rockstar have blocked account transfers now tho, was fun while it lasted.
Normally frown upon that sort of behaviour but the only way to make good legit money is with grinding heists which haven't been updated in donkeys years so I thought "fuc you rockstar" and enjoyed some fun.
I created a separate Xbox one account so it hasn't effected my main character
Money glitches are the most effective way to gain GTA$ as they can't ban you for exploiting a flaw in their code.

Car duplication glitches are the most profitable. Lowrider duplicates sell for around 500K each, high end street cars approx. 200K.Do you mean glicthing the pacstan finale over and over?

I've never bothered with the repeat finales glitches as it takes far too much time and effort for little return.

How do you duplicate cars?
Methods vary, but they are usually very easy, such as driving a heavily modded car then quickly joining a mission and then immediately exiting and boom, you have two cars. One goes in to the garage and you continue until all spaces are filled.
Check out the SevenSins forum for instructions on the latest dupe glitch, if there is one that hasn't been patched yet.
