Bizarre is putting it lightly

Some of the worst losses I've seen as a Bears fan in the RS. Absolutely brutal. The hail-mary fiasco and then the last 3 losses have been coaching malpractice worsening each week.
 
Eberflus getting a lot of stick but that was very poor from caleb Williams. I understand that he is a rookie but his game management needs to be so much better there

Of course. But why in the world do you just stand back and watch a rookie screw up like this as a coach? The guy just took a sack and the whole offense is obviously not realising what the situation is. It’s bordering on malpractice to not use a timeout there. It’s on the coach.
 
Well yeah Eberflus needed to call the timeout but once it was clear that they weren't calling one Caleb needed to snap the ball quicker, he took far too much time looking around
 
Eberflus has been shitcanned.

The first time in Bears history they've fired a coach mid-season, which is a bit of a shock considering they've been mostly woeful for the last 30 years.

Williams has to take blame for getting sacked the play before and not getting rid of the ball thus letting the clock run.

As for the last play I know he can call a timeout too and he must know that but it was crazy how no one seemed to care they were rubbing out of time

True, everyone knows not keeping a steady rhythm can lead to painful chaffing.

As a rookie QB in that situation you are relying on the coaching staff to control the TO. He played his part but he's been let down massively by his coach.
