NFL 2024 | Let's Football

Now after Lamar got sacked the refs threw a ridiculous flag and then decided it wasn't a flag. Ravens had no timeouts but clock got stopped. So poor

What a play! Allen pass to Coop. Gets it back from Cooper and runs it for a TD. Josh Allen is one heck of a player.

People are comparing the hit by that piece of shit Al-shaair on Lawrence to this hit on Trent Green by Gaethers. Note - no flag.

Tucker is never gonna make another kick, is he?

While watching it yesterday, as someone who is a bit new to NFL, was wondering will we see a kicker that gonna change that position, both in production and being top paid. Dunno whats humanly possible but if you had someone that can score from half line (like its nothing) and further back, that shit would be OP as shit.

I was wrong about the packers, they are a really good team. Now hopefully they can do some madness on Thursday night

Well things are evolving every decade with kicking and Tucker is probably the best to ever do it. Believe me this guy has taken NFL kicking to a new level and it's difficult to explain how automatic this guy was for about a decade

Oh i trust you just if/when that moment comes, think its a wrap, like having Steph in NBA, having 3pts blanket in 90% of offensive possession would break a game.

What the feck is this viewing experience, is it always like this outside redzone lul, team punts, they start commercials, commercials finishes and you see CB is on 3rd for 3 the hell.

Regardless of the result tonight, Colts Vs Broncos will still be the biggest game of the NFL season so far. If the Broncos win then essentially the AFC playoff spots will be wrapped up. Lose that game and it's squeaky bum time for Denver who have to play the Chargers, Chiefs and Bengals whilst the Colts will have to make up one win on the Broncos from their remaining Giants, Titans and Jags fixtures.

Winston laying near 500 yards on the Broncos D but als gifting them two TDs, can't get much closer to the peak Jameis experience. No one threw for more than 280 yards against the Broncos so far this season either

Already looking forward to TNF, what a game that could/should be

Also, Jerry Jeudy comfortably leads the friggin league in receiving yards since Week 8 (which is when Jameis took over as the Browns starter). And that's despite having had a bye in Week 10.

Protect Jameis at all costs.

Just seen the highlights of last night's game looked a great game and Bo Nix should be rookie of the year for certain. He looks like he had been playing in NFL for years.

It’s got to be between him and Jayden Daniels who has also looked fantastic tbf. I’m obviously biased but I’d give Nix the edge after a slow start, since week 4 he’s been performing seriously well, but either would be worthy winners.

Should be Bowers. On course not only to smash the rookie TE receptions record, but THE rookie receptions record and perhaps the TE receptions record overall as well. And he's the only offensive rookie who has a case to be the best player overall in the league at his position. I know that's easier at TE than QB, but still should be taken into account.

Nix and Daniels have been very good, not great imo. Not on the level of CJ Stroud last year who won OROY in front of Nacua (rookie receptions and rookie receiving records) and... Sam LaPorta with a much less impressive season than what Bowers is doing right now. If you're not giving it to Bowers this season, a TE is never winning the award again unless we see a 150 - 1.500 - 10 season in the future.

Still 5 games to play so it's up for grabs, but a 119 - 1.250 - 6 statline (based on his current averages) from a rookie TE is unheard of.

Agree with you. It should be Bowers.

In theory the best place for Darnold is Minneapolis but I wonder what is the next best place? Which team can provide him similar infrastructure and need a QB?

That’s a very good case tbf.

I wouldn't say it's unheard of (other than the stupid number of catches from receivers these days)

An argument in favor of my case to be honest, since Ditka was the last TE to win OROY all the way back in 1961 :p
