Jeff GeorgeMaybe a day to cue up a classic Thanksgiving Day Game from 30 years ago - Green Bay at Dallas. When Jason Garrett went off in the second half, rallying Dallas from 17-6 and 24-13 down to a 42-31 win. Sterling Sharpe had four receiving touchdowns; sadly, he'd have his career ended a few weeks later.
Trivia: Who can identify the random QB signed by Dallas that week with Aikman and Peete out? He was on the roster for this game only but did not see action.
Hint: His college had a 'Tiger' mascot.
I saw an interview online earlier, he said he’s been a Jets fan for 20 years, so he knows how Spurs fans feel.Just got in, put the NFL on pretty much as it’s cutting away from the studio and I see Paul Merson? Has he turned up to work two days early so they’ve chucked him in the nearest studio or is he actually a bit of a NFL fan?
Jeff George
Well… you’re asking for a backup QB who was on a roster for one game 30 years ago so you should take what you can get.Not sure if serious... but Jeff was slinging it in Atlanta that year and attended Illinois.
Fair enough. Was probably one of the last people I was expecting to see sat there was all. He picked Tom Brady over Thierry Henry at least when asked. I thought it could go either way though.I saw an interview online earlier, he said he’s been a Jets fan for 20 years, so he knows how Spurs fans feel.
Deservedly. What a bizarre sequence. His ass is gonna get fired.
