Tried to defend more today and almost got sent off because he can’t/won’t do it properly. Still, he was our only threat going forward.

I think that's overplayed to be honest. It isn't just him but the constant getting inside and having a shot from distance (or Bruno's ah shots from outside area) at some point has to be acknowledged as the reason why we're not scoring or creating enough, rather than praise those who effectively dictate that these chances that we are limited to

He played too far away from Rasmus, which made our attacking threat almost non-existent.
He was hugging the touchline, that’s where he should be, the fault lies with Rasmus who often just stands by the penalty spot wrestling with the CB rather than move to receive the ball.

Should have been sent off.

One trick pony with his cut-ins from the left, yet pundits laud it as brilliance.

Erik needs to go, but Rashford needs driving out of this club just as desperately. He symbolises everything that is wrong with United, by rewarding those unworthy and attempting to maintain value.

Just get rid of him anyway how. There must be a winger in the Championship who you could pay 20% of his wages too and you would easily improve the effort and performance of Rashford.

He's just so limited, has progressed so little over the years (and in some ways regressed). We should sell him, it's best for us and for the player himself

Why does he insist on always smashing the ball when he cuts in. There are times that type of finish works but he hardly ever tries to curl it into the far post using more finesse and less power.

He seems to always want to blast the ball as hard as possible. Bruno does the same thing only he only seems to want to blast it to the top corner.

As I’ve said in previous weeks, he’s easily our best attacker and that’s the problem. You can pick holes in his performance all through the game but he leaves the game making more of an impact than the rest.

Man Utd 2:1 Brentford New
Absolutely quality today, never seen him put in such a shift.

Good performance, but he needs to put his head down and do that for the next 10 games straight

Decent performance on the right. He seems to have improved his crossing which will come in handy as he loses his pace.

Quietly been our best creative attacker this season, by a distance. Creates most of our chances, and has done every game this season.

Porto away and today were two really good performances. My MOTM.

Thought he was very good. Worked really hard, looked sharp and the quality was there too. Great game from him.

Great reaction from the crowd for his graft at the end there, chasing balls down, interceptions etc. Hope he's feeling the love.

Genuinely don’t remember the last time he put a shift in like that was.
That’s all we fecking want and expect week in week out even if the actual football doesn’t come off.

Wants his England spot back now we got new manager. Looked hungrier than he has looked in a long time.

I wouldn't go that far. Its a level of performance that should be Rashford's base level. Playing on the right , when he can be bothered to put a performance in there as he historically has given minimum effort when put on the right, forces him to be a bit more creative rather than just trying to score. Overall a good performance but again, for a player who is supposed to be our star player it really should be his base level.

That's what we want from Rashford. The commitment was there from the first minute to the last. He can be such an asset when he's up for it.

Did everything today. Quality on the ball, defensive workrate, great intensity in both offensive and defensive transitions, and superb decision making, even when winning throw ins and filling up gaps on the pitch. Excellent.

Yeah, played well today. Put in a good shift defensively, cross for the goal was brilliant.

Rashford still or have we all grown up a bit now?

Just seen that assist. Fantastic cross, he's put in a few of those this season.

I have been quite vocal about his work rate but credit where its due, was so good today. Worked hard off the ball and kept our shape and was dangerous in attack

More of this.
