He's a disgrace. The guy would obviously rather be somewhere mingling with celebrities and prancing about in his shite designer gear than putting in a shift for United
Lost a decent amount of raw pace to boot of which he has been reliant on ever since. Will take a decent amount of time for him to adjust his game as he physically ages and I don't think we can afford him time for that if we're serious on winning silverware.
And splitting up with his girlfriend. Then getting back together. Then splitting up again.Don't forget his depression.
We wouldn’t know. He doesn’t put in a shift. That’s the big issue here. People would have more patience with him if he works hard but he doesn’t.He's only 27 but he's played more top level football than a lot of players in their 30s. I think miles on the clock takes its toll.
He was never the most technical player but his athleticism has completely deserted him and he's got nothing to fall back on.
I’m so tired of hearing how it’s just his mental health affecting him. I really am.He's not right in the head. Whether it's motivation, concentration, confidence or all of the above, something is seriously wrong.
It's sad. He's been great for periods here, but you can't live on that.
I’m not even saying that. Lack of desire, confidence and focus is not necessarily down to a mental health problem.I’m so tired of hearing how it’s just his mental health affecting him. I really am.
its almost like he played for a stupid contract, then checked outI’m not even saying that. Lack of desire, confidence and focus is not necessarily down to a mental health problem.
Unless he is injured I can’t explain how he goes from his 30 goal season to this other than something mentally. What’s your explanation?
That was Mourinho. It seemed personal between those two. Van Gaal loved him.Should be thrown out of the team like LvG did with Schweinsteiger. There must be consequences to performances like this tonight.
Our only hope is that one of the Saudi clubs offers actual money for him.
Wrong thread fella, at least I hope it isDefinitely our best offensive player currently. But have to say I like him more as our RWB than as one of the 10s, i think having more room and time there suits him better currently.

Oh dear. Could swear I was in the Amad Thread.Wrong thread fella, at least I hope it is
He was god awful. No effort. Put zero pressure on their back line. Didn’t run in behind. Just received and passed the ball backwards. Complete waste of space on the pitch.I know he’s been poor but was he really that bad today? I assume zero effort, just strolling around ?
Ah my bad! That was Mourinho. It seemed personal between those two. Van Gaal loved him.

You see old players with chronic injuries working hard and all so the miles on his clock isn’t an excuse.
Sadly he's well past his prime, he peaked early.Maybe i said this already but it really baffles me; you are in your prime, earning 350k per week, playing for biggest English club in biggest league in the world. Basically leaving a dream.
And despite all that you play like someone who hate his job.
Taylor Swift should date him. Get an album out of that. And splitting up with his girlfriend. Then getting back together. Then splitting up again.
I'm not defending him but having everything doesn't always equate happiness.Maybe i said this already but it really baffles me; you are in your prime, earning 350k per week, playing for biggest English club in biggest league in the world. Basically leaving a dream.

I feel the same. I’m sure reasons will come out eventually but he’s completely spent. Even in some of his worst seasons, he wasn’t pulling the team down in this way. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt under Amorim, but it’s got worse. He's not right in the head. Whether it's motivation, concentration, confidence or all of the above, something is seriously wrong.

I hope to God that this isn't the start of the end. It has to be the end of the end.Really feels like the start of the end of the road. I can envisage him leaving, playing for another two years or so and retiring really young at like 30.
