Can the club not keep him out of first team training and away from games? Surely that is an option. If I was the manager I wouldn't want anyone near the squad who I wanted out.
I think in part there is a little bit of plausible deniability at play there from Amorim. As long as he's still allowed to train then the manager can say that he's left the door open for Rashford to improve his levels.
Totally freezing him out invites even more of the criticism that is on its way from the media and certain fans. Creates even more drama.
