@Lawman I think Martial is a more promising prospect than Rashford. Losing Martial would be unforgivable.

Some were telling us his dribbling is amazing and regularly named him above Martial in that department. I saw nothing of that so far.Mbappe looks very good but not a dribbler like Messi or Ronaldo really, his close control is nothing special. He looks likely to be a top striker though.
Agree to both of the above. The assembled team is fast & very entertaining to watch. Of course, they might really suck next year after selling a third of their team, but it would be interesting to see if they continue to put a similarly attacking team next season.
Figure at least Mbappe, Fabinho, and probably Silva are out the door in the summer.
Read somewhere that Saint-Maximin has the most succesful take-ons in the top 5 lesgues with a high succes rate as well. Is he that good?In theory the replacements are already there for most players with Cardona, Traoré, Boschilia and Saint-Maximin. They will have to replace both CMs and Boschilia's injury is a big blow but that's manageable.

Dont think they'll pay around 80 million euro's or more tbf if they dont even want to upgrade Sanchez' contract.Replacement for Sanchez at Arsenal. Arsenal would be the perfect stepping stone for him if Wenger is still there
They can't afford him. He'll be significantly more expensive than Martial.Replacement for Sanchez at Arsenal. Arsenal would be the perfect stepping stone for him if Wenger is still there
Don't worry, we're not signing Mbappe. What about Rashford though? I don't want to sign a competitor to him.
In the France squad.
He is a fantastic talent but nowhere near ready to be a first choice striker for United. Rashford, to take as an example, had the highest conversion rate out of all players in the Premier League last season and it was obvious he wouldn't be able to keep his numbers that high this season. I expect Mbappe to suffer a similar dip in the future as the entire Monaco team are outperforming against their xGs (expected goals).
Because he is just 18. Young players suffer dip in form and tend to be inconsistent. Didn't some of the United fans think Rashford would continue his goal scoring form this season from last season and should not be replaced with Zlatan as our first choice ?How is he not anywhere ready? He's banging in goals in the latter stages of the CL. We're in the Europa.

On top of that, he plays in a free flowing team where strikers get plenty of service and the team as a whole are scoring at an unsustainable rate (not too different from Leicester last season).

I'd prefer Ousmane Dembele but Mbappe can become whatever he wants to be
What if he wants to be a mermaid? Thought about that? Tough to grow a fishy tail I reckon.
Think of France, who will have Martial, Dembele and Mbappe as an interchanging front 3! Not to mention Pogba, Varane, Laporte and Umtiti. If I could sign one Monaco player I'd take Mbappe. The others are handy. This guy is huge talent. The prospect of having Rashford, Mbappe & Martial to choose from in a front 2 would be too much to resist.
He will leave.
They're quite different tbh, for now they play on the wing, but Mbappe is going to be a superstriker in a few years time while Dembele the most trickery, lethal and hazardous winger around by almeans. Think both of them are Barcelona/Real bound mind. The superbiggest talents just go there.I'd prefer Ousmane Dembele but Mbappe can become whatever he wants to be
Perhaps they see the other players as more important to stay competitive as a team while replacing MBappe is possible aka MartialMonaco have several players they can cash in on this summer, thought they would keep Mbappe for at least one more season.

Valid points, only that it seems that Dembele wants to go to Barcelona after Dortmund and Mbappe is Ronaldo's no 1 fan. Their appeal to the players is huge.Perhaps they see the other players as more important to stay competitive as a team while replacing MBappe is possible aka Martial
Ever since FIFA & UEFA scandal exposed, I personally speculated that Real & Barcelona had been taking some hit in finding their financial backing for big transfer (they use loan to fund big transfer for some instance). Being closely watched the last couple seasons, Real Madrid had stopped their annual one superstar per summer window. Similarly with Barcelona. My point is if bidding war escalates, English clubs & Bayern (if they want) can match or outbid Real Madrid & Barcelona now. Real Madrid & Barcelona can't go as far with their bid without sacrifice their superstars whom is part of attraction for other players to come to these 2 clubs.
