People mention Henry, but he reminds me a lot of Ronaldo(Brazil) before his injuries.

Scary good. I'd throw the war chest at him honestly.

Obviously was skeptical, but he just impresses every time.

Sadly, I think he's Real bound though. Matter of when.

Absolutely class already, a deadly finisher and he's not even 19 yet. 120m will look cheap in the future, just like the ronaldo money.
 
I hope he sticks around for a season more and goes to a stable/cohesive club so he can make good on his potential.
 
This clearly won't happen.

Most we can hope to get out of the Mbappe transfer is Madrid spilling so much moolah on him that they won't be able to afford DDG.
 
A possible second-season syndrome happening with him seems so, so unlikely right now..
 
What a time must it be for Real fans, Ramos, Modric, Pepe, Marcelo, Ronaldo still at their very peak and the bests in their positions, world class players like Carvajal, Navas, Kroos, Isco, Balewho have plenty of years left and will continue to get better. World class talent in the likes of Varane, Kovacic, Acensio and then two huge talents who are Real bounded as well, Mbappe and lesser extent Vinicius Jr, on course to win the league and still in the CL final.
 
Surely there are doubts about his true potential, but today he has scored a super star goal, and is not the first time in the season.
At this point I think Madrid have to sign him, obviating the risk and the price. But as @Sammyjunn said, there is a very good generation. Even Benzema, who has been criticized, showed last week that if he wants, he has the level. Perhaps the best thing is to wait a year, but I imagine that Monaco will want to take advantage of the hype this summer

I think he'd do well at Madrid and in the Spanish league.
 
Good lord. This kid is the best prospect i've seen in a long while. The quality he's currently displaying, and at the age he's doing it at, I can't remember who the last person was that looked this good, that young. Players don't usually start playing to his kind of current level until they are maybe 19 or 20 at the earlier, early twenties maybe. What a scary, scary player he is going to be.
 
We splashed the cash for Rooney, lets splash it for this lad.
 
I'd happily see us pay 120m for him. He's got everything required to be the best player of his generation. You don't let a player like this go to your rivals.

I'd love to see a midfield 3 of Matic, Pogba, and James with a fluid front 3 of Martial, Mbappe and Rashford.
 
The hype he's getting in this thread is absolutely unreal. He's had half a good season ffs. It's nowhere near enough to deserve posts like these:

It's completely out of control. People should rather compare him to Papiss Demba Cisse who had a similar half a season :p
No but seriously, it's nowhere near dead certain that he's going to become a world class player. Keep in mind how Januzaj and Martial couldn't follow up after having one great season. Breaking the world transfer record for him would be fecking madness and I struggle to understand how lots of people here seem to want it to happen.
