I think what Raiola is saying is that we have made a bid. I think that's the "official offer".

Reliable?

Haven't heard much about an offer but rather Raiola saying United 'should be interested.' Excellent news if true.
those tweets are just the (translated) gist of tomorrow's BILD article that will include direct quotes from both raiola and dortmund's watzke

Its sounds like a risk with his personality,
and as good as hes been this season i remember dortmund fans being pretty sick of him last season,
so at the very least he'd take a while to settle

But i'd still risk it, he just looks such a great player.

He has great work rate, quick, gets goals and assists. Not surprised Jose wants him.

Bit confused about this, so he IS staying at Dortmund this season. Sounds like he will be off next year when he's free. Also sounds like Raiola is quite annoyed at Dortmund for keeping the player for another season.

Yes. BvB has said they're not offloading more senior players this season (Reus, Micki, Aubameyang). I would be surprised if they didn't let him go for the right price though. Would be stupid to let him get off for free next summer.

what do you mean? they have something against buy-out clauses, in general, and are obviously not as big a name in world football as they had thought. they're still a feeder club to the top shelf and currently struggling to accept that, IMHO. plus they do not want to be fecked with raiola-style, and i can only wish united the best of luck when/if that cnut of an agent gets more than one of his assets to sign at united..

So let a player for for nothing again just for principles. They must have other great income sources if they make losses on players.

As aforementioned. Wenger doesn't deal with these so-called 'super agents'.

Hey micki you're so fine
you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind
hey micki, hey hey hey micki

easiest player chant ever!!!

well i, for one, can at least see the reasoning in trying to force him to see out his contract, given the departures of both hummels and gündogan and the uncertainty about reus' injuries - it would clearly be a(nother) hazard to their CL ambitions. yet it could as well be a tactical move to at least gain an acceptable transfer fee, as there might be doubts about his lewandowski-esque professionalism during his last year of contract.

Letting Hummel, Gundogan and now seemingly Mkhitariyan go in the same summer is utter madness. BvB really are a doormat club, get walked over by Bayern and players alike. They're like that one guy that gets friend zoned by every decent girl he meets, and then he's left watching sadly on as the girl finds herself a proper boyfriend and subsequently deletes the guy from her life.

hence their reluctance to accept just that. btw, gündogan was decent in extending his contract year-by-year despite his wish to move on, and he didn't use a sockpuppet to pour shit on the club in public, as is now the case. the surprising departure of hummels (whose contract was running out in 2017, too) for a so far unseen amount of money was/is a shame; he kinda fecked them over, royally, but what was there to do? players with one year left on their contract have them by the balls..

Doesn't he have a release clause of £23.5m?
nope. yet every now-furious dortmund supporter would consider a minimum fee of €30m as somewhat acceptable, given the fact that he's unwilling to extend his contract.

You're a absolutely correct, hence my (shit) analogy. BvB are completely powerless to stop their stars running their contracts down and holding the club to ransom. They have lost so many world class talents this way. Until they manage to stem this, they cannot be considered a top club unfortunately. I really feel sorry for them and their supporters, who must be sick to death seeing this efflux every bleeding summer.

most of us are rather in a state of, erm, new-found fatalism, what with the influx of unproven, umpteen-year-old supermega-talents from bumblefeck and all :/
it's also clear that auba, too, could/would be eyeing on a move to a top top club - he was just stupid enough to prematurely extend until 2020, that silly goose..

Who is that player?

Also, isnt Raiola Zlatans agent as well.... and Pogbas?
We are signing everyone... EVERYONE .. Its so ON now..
A young Dutch attacker: Donyell Maden. Not sure what Pardew is doing there though

It's not as if we haven't been in a similar position.

  • Got fecked by Pogba as he ran down his contract
  • De Gea ran his contract down till the last 12 months too to force a move to Madrid last summer
  • Rooney managed to do the same and blackmail us into giving him a 300k a week contract
  • We overpaid for Nani in the last year of his contract, then he played about 5 more games for us and have had to subside his wage since he left
  • Di Maria didn't even wait to run his contract down to his force his way out, and made us take a £10m hit after only a year.

I don't want Mkhitaryan but Dortmund will 100% sell him to us or some other PL clubs.....of course Watzke must say now "Mkhitaryan will stay" because otherwise Mkhitaryan/Raiola/Other clubs are in the better position.........but Dortmund can never keep a player like Mkhitaryan for another season if he wants to leave so much (With his attitude there's now way that he would play another great season).

Why don't you want him?

I dream of a fast counter attacking side next year under Mourinho and i think Miki would fit perfectly.

- I would prefer a 4-3-3 system next season but that is just my wish and Mkhitaryan's best system is surely 4-2-3-1.
- His last season was fantastic but he had also two poor seasons with Dortmund therefore i'm not totally convinced about his quality.
- It also sounds like he and Raiola have played a dirty contract game with Dortmund's bosses......they could do the same with us if Real Madrid wants him in 2 years.

But if it means Mkhitaryan replaces Lingard or Fellaini in the starting XI then i wouldn't cry ;)

I don't think Dortmund played a 4-2-3-1 last season, but it was so fluid it's hard to tell, the only constant was that Weigl sat behind the other five as the #6.

in 2 years he will be 29, this move is his last big one I recon

With Ibra on the move, Mkhitaryan more than likely on the move and Pogba possibly too.. it's going to be a big $ummer for Raiola.

Can you imagine being 2-0 up, bringing off ibra and Mkhitaryan in the 70th minute just to bring on Rashford and Embolo. Holy moly
