I hope he never comes across the caf Messi would start to doubt his choice of profession if it was down to us
Bit confused about this, so he IS staying at Dortmund this season. Sounds like he will be off next year when he's free. Also sounds like Raiola is quite annoyed at Dortmund for keeping the player for another season.I speak German, here is the translation of the most important parts from the source article der Westen which is reliable when it comes to BvB:
Henrikh Mkhitaryan soll trotzdem beim BVB bleiben. Sein Vertrag läuft 2017 aus. Mkhitaryans Berater Mino Raiola kritisierte den BVB deswegen scharf.
(Henrikh Mkhitaryan will however still stay with BvB. His contract ends in 2017. Due to this, Mkhitaryans agent/adviser Mino Raiola has criticized BvB sharply)

Incredible, he's never been this good when I've seen him. Also, a lot faster than I thought.
Do you not already have that with delegating minutes split between Dembele and Mor? Both look fantastic talents who really need as much gametime as possible. And the moment we have secured a fitting replacement and gotten an good enough offer to put a positive spin on the saga, Watzke will reverse that statement, saying that circumstances changed. That´s not Watzke´s and Zorc´s first rodeo on the transfermarket and the notion to not sell him is the only negotiation tool we have left. We will try to bleed the EPL clubs a bit and buy time to get the right replacement.
Zlatan + Mkhitaryan + Bailly + world class CM and id be pretty happy with that.
Is he ready to take the step up to Bayren? Robben needs replacing.wtf is going on right now!?
He's the Armenian Kagawa
Based on the description of his mental frailties, do not want.
He can play all 3 attacking positions, as a CM, and as a DLP. However, he only played the latter position at Shakhtar for the most part so it would be tough to gage whether it would translate. His best season for Dortmund came with him mostly playing on the right. I just don't think he can handle the media circus that would be generated as a result of his signing. He's not an instant game changer, but he does have moments of brilliance. Solid signing for €25 million, but really wouldn't pay more, and this is coming from a guy who knows this is our greatest ever player (Armenia).@Sphaero
What is his best position? From the little I have seen of him it looks like he's a natural attacking left midfielder. What's your view?
Let's say Mou plays him as a left attackin mid with license to roam around and he can replicate nearly all of the form he had for Dorrmund last season, do you think that he can succeed in the PL the same way he was successful for you?
Is he a big game player, game changer or a character who delivers his best when expectation are low?
My opinion is that he is a very good player. If he can keep his self confidence and have a good start he can be a sensation for us. A front three with Martial - Zlatan - Mahrez/Sané with Mhkitaryan just behind would be awesome. But maybe that's just me being muppet and too optimistic....
That comment is tongue well in cheek. I know very little about this guy and can't comment on his adaptability at all.Much faster than Shinji.
Seriously we can only compare with the only other transfer between the clubs?
mkhitaryan is not a deep-lying playmaker. at donezk, he was more of a half-striker iirc. he's best as an interchanging winger imho.He can play all 3 attacking positions, as a CM, and as a DLP. However, he only played the latter position at Shakhtar for the most part so it would be tough to gage whether it would translate. They are correct, it's just the initial expectations that are placed on the guy shouldn't be overly realistic. We are singing someone dependable and reliable, not someone who will transform our attack and turn us into the attack of 07/08.That comment is tongue well in cheek. I know very little about this guy and can't comment on his adaptability at all.
But if the German posters are pointing out that he doesn't seem to do well under pressure and attention... maybe we need to steer clear.
In his initial time at Shakhtar he was ocassionally used as a DLP but mostly as a CM. But the longer he stayed the further forward he was pushed. I even stated I don't know if he could do it in the prem because he never did it at Dortmund.mkhitaryan is not a deep-lying playmaker. at donezk, he was more of a half-striker iirc. he's best as an interchanging winger imho.
he played a more than consistent POTY season in 15/16, yet was heavily attacked for refusing to shoot a penalty in the fecking cup final against bayern, which dortmund lost. How was he this past season? My current knowledge of him is that he's a talented, yet incredibly inconsistent player who fails to really show up in big games. Has that changed? If not, then I don't want him.
Yes he can speak English, his sister lives in LA.Don't want him either. Does he even speak English? We need to build a team, not the Tower of Babel.
Thanks. Well then, I feel a whole lot better.Yes he can speak English, his sister lives in LA.
With such little options to choose from as a right winged option, I think we just need to bite the bullet and take the risk on him.He can play all 3 attacking positions, as a CM, and as a DLP. However, he only played the latter position at Shakhtar for the most part so it would be tough to gage whether it would translate. He's another one that we're being linked with by journalists with no real substance to it. Don't suspect Arsenal are in for him, personally.
what do you mean? they have something against buy-out clauses, in general, and are obviously not as big a name in world football as they had thought. they're still a feeder club to the top shelf and currently struggling to accept that, IMHO. plus they do not want to be fecked with raiola-style, and i can only wish united the best of luck when/if that cnut of an agent gets more than one of his assets to sign at united..Do BvB have something against making money?
Want.
He speaks 6 languages and studied business at university level along with the football.
32 Assists and 23 goals last season.
Babel confirmed.
