Mkhitaryan had already been transferred to Dortmund as they had, as usual, done their business early (June) before Chelsea went in for Wilian (end of August). Mourinho only started in June so may not have had the time to assess what was needed. Or he just preferred Wilian but is now ungettable. How is it paper talk? He did spend £30m on signing him for Chelsea, he obviously rates him very highly.
Tamil? LolololololOne of the easiest languages in the world. Doesn't do dumbfeck things like assigning sexes to things. House is feminine, but the door is masculine.. Wonder which language does that? Hehehe
Welcome to 2016 when Troy Deeney would cost you 30 million. Can someone who has seen Henry Mikeryan play a few times please fill me in on him
Why is this 27/28 year old I have never heard of worth £30m+?
If true that we've bid £28m plus bonuses, surely it's got to be a done deal?
I mean, it makes no sense to bid £19m, get a no, and then immediately slap €15m onto that. If we were testing their resolve, surely the bidding process would've been a bit more incremental? Makes me think that Dortmund have named their price and that we've matched it. Assuming that the reports on the bid are correct, that is.

Get him in, 20/30/40m who really cares?
United are on a budget, it's just that budget is abnormally large. It is there however, and if we start wasting 10, 20 million just because some can't be patient and wait for negotiations to finish, that budget will start dwindling, and quickly.Anyone would think United are on a budget , just get the man!!!!! Pay whatever we need to and get him through the door, it's pointless to generate all these commercial contracts with bags of money if we are still going to play the market like we are on Bargain Hunt!! Get him in, 20/30/40m who really cares?
The impatience of some fans. Urging to submit a €40m bid in June for a player with a year left on his contract.
Seriously.
Never heard of him before this Summer. I don't watch Dortmund and I don't watch Armenia. And I don't play Fifa or FM
Have you seen him play a lot?
Thats the spirit! Hope Watzke negotiate as hard as its possible ,not only cause its Micki, but just to give Mourinho a feedback for his behaviour with us and de Bruyne in 2013. You want him? Then knee down and pay!
Jeez, im a little late with the Bayern jokes but it does seem crazy that Dortmund bend over for Bayern yet wont even deal with us?
My suggestion?, do a Real, make the player/agent make the move happen. £30m not a penny more.

Dortmund don't bend over for Bayern, though. They refused to sell Lewandowski and let him go on a free. They got a German-record fee off them for Gotze. They got £30m for Hummels with a year left on his contract (and this was after years of Bayern trying to get him and Dortmund refusing). Inevitably they lose players to Bayern, but that's the circle of football. Smaller teams lose players to bigger teams. They've already lost two of their best players this summer and losing Mickey-Targaryen would be a disaster from their perspective.Jeez, im a little late with the Bayern jokes but it does seem crazy that Dortmund bend over for Bayern yet wont even deal with us?

So what about the times we have missed out due to 'negotiations' and then players get snapped up elsewhere for a couple of mill extra?
Its not coming out of your bank account so why are you so fussed? In the grand scheme of life it doesn't matter if United want to spend £1 or £10000000000000 on a player, its their money - for me i just want the players in, the money means nothing. Do you think Madrid fans say 'oh no we spent 63 mill on James, what a waste of money?' no, they just say 'he's cr*p, please leave, NEXT!'.
Agent wants him here, the player wants to come but Dortmund don't want to sell.is this happening?
If we follow your logic, it's not your money so don't complain about the club trying to negotiate.
OK well when we don't sign him for a couple of mill extra (that means absolutely nothing) and we still have Valencia not crossing a ball or contributing to anything, then at least you can be assured that 'United PLC LTD BSB MHD OBE' still have their money in their pockets .
There is no point negotiating when the fee is so low anyway, 19>30 mill isn't exactly going to lead to administration is it?
You look at money we waste on obnoxious wages for garbage players (a la Falcao on 200k+ a week) but when there is a couple of mill on negotiations then everyone loses their sh*t
I understand what you are trying to say but Budget or not this guy has Orly 1 year left!!! We should still negotiate hard in order to drive a bargain. So far we have submitted 25 million but they want us to buff it to 40 which is absurd. They are in no position to negotiate such a fee. We should battle this out with the intention of signing him at all costs. The only problem is I don't want another pedro saga were I wake up and suddenly he is signging for Manchester CityAnyone would think United are on a budget , just get the man!!!!! Pay whatever we need to and get him through the door, it's pointless to generate all these commercial contracts with bags of money if we are still going to play the market like we are on Bargain Hunt!! $40 million for a player with a year left is absurd. Plus add ons is madness. He will be signed for less than 30 million. euros. We are still in June. We can also wait it out like Dortmund. The only issue is another team swooping in.We should probably get this done and dusted as early as possible though, or else Dortmund will claim they don't have time to get a proper replacement and dig their heels in.
We will most likely end up at €40m, structured with add-ons like we usually do these days. All are happy.
I for one know that I wouldn't want an unhappy Raiola client lingering around the club for a year while running down his contract. The drama will be endless.
Can't we just lodge a complaint with Bayern if Dortmund refuse to sell?

There is no lowball given the given situation. He can't cost so much given his contract situation. The only party making this deal unfair is currently Dortmund. They are a bit salty given they are losing all their players and have decided to maximize their gain at the cost of United. We can wait it out and Mkhytaryan has made it clear he won't stay with a club that can't hold onto their stars. It's up to them to figure out their role in football and sell to make a profit. As I said earlier the only negative from all this is another club swooping in which would be devastating. 30 million euros is a steal for Dortmund given their situation. Demanding 40 is them just taking the piss.If he starts crying because they keep him it'll surely be quite bad for Dortmund, but it would be much worse for the player, because his recent season is the only reason why he's suddenly so high in demand and I doubt it would be nearly the same for a 28 year old who had one good season in four years with a (then) questionable character and furthermore once the summer window is closed the move any further trouble would just be pointless sulking.
So you want to wait until the (pre) season has started and the market is empty, so Dortmund can't buy/integrate a replacement, then lowball them. I wonder how that is going to turn out.
@EmaGiulianelli: Mkhitharyan very close to Manchester United.
Don't know how authentic is this guy.

You realize they just got €38m for Hummels, who had a similar contract situation? They supposedly turned down €25m for Lewandowski a couple of seasons ago and at that time they were far less wealthy than they are now and the market wasn't inflated by the British tv deal yet. So I wouldn't be so sure that a similar fee is going to do the trick here.
It's not taking the piss. He's their player and they decide what value he has to them. If they really don't want to lose him this season then they are setting that value higher.
