2 man midfield
Last Man Standing finalist 2021/22
Just chuck 30m at them and see if they're serious. If they turn that down, respect their decision and move onto other targets. We can't waste another summer chasing unattainable players.
He means he is the best realistic option. He may well be that aswell.
What makes you think that Mourinho understands transfers but Sir Alex and Wenger don't?Advantage with Mourinho is that he knows how transfers (agents) work, that's really helpful in todays footballing world. I don't think Alex Ferguson figured that out, not Arsene, not Van Gaal. Gone are the days where we keep throwing out millions on a target without no idea on how to get them. I'm confident that we can reach any target if the player has the slightest interest.
Yep. I cannot really think of a better RW who seems to be available for us this summer.
Let's keep Raiola out of this. He's a snake and must be told to stop shouting his mouth in the media or we will end our interest in the player. Discuss with Dortmund and if they say that they want the player to see out his contract, then so be it.

Rojo missed training in order to join us.I believe we'll sign him this summer. To force his transfer from Shakhtar he missed training session and his coach said he'll be fined if he doesn't turn up for training. 10 days later Dortmund signed him. Looks like he will do anything to get what he wants. Not the ideal type of player we should be looking to sign but we'll be left behind if we go for all these moral victories.
I think Rojo missed training for his entire life, utter tripeRojo missed training in order to join us.
I think we've finally figured out the saga of 2016.
Sneijder, Thiago, Vidal...
How will this one end?
Lol. Dortmund about to get their own. Raiola said both clubs are still speaking in a got atmosphere. So it might not come to that.I believe we'll sign him this summer. Think it's more a pride issue. They want to show their are not just a selling club etc. Hard to mount a league challenge when you keep selling your best players, but if they don't want to stay what's the point?. I think it'll happen eventually, it just doesn't make sense to miss out on 30m, get an upset player all year and then lose them for free after that. Take it on the chin, buy another wonderkid with the money and move on.I find it difficult to believe that Dortmund would be so insistent on blocking the move. There's hardly going to be a fan backlash if Mkhitaryan has made it clear he won't extend and Raiola is speaking openly of him wanting to move.
Between Ousmane Dembele and Emre Mor they should have the Mkhitaryan replacement covered anyway. I'm sure they'll sell as long as we put in a respectable offer.
Yeah I get that, but as you say it seems more counterproductive than anything. Losing key players on free transfers every couple of years is hardly an effective business model either.Think it's more a pride issue. Who knows what is realistic? Dortmund are saying he is not for sale. Mind you, most selling clubs say that until the right money is on the table. He means he is the best realistic option. He may well be that aswell.
His agent is basically giving a minute by minute live commentary update it seems...
This guy is all of a sudden the best option? What've I missed? (Genuine question, not being sarcy)
What's laughable about it when Gundogan was sold for a similar amount? Is Mkhitaryan twice the player? It would be better if "Rantiola" puts his energy in talks with United to raise their offer.
25 mio € is laughable.. His bullshit talking and the first low offer wont convince Watzke and Co. All in all it produces more the opposite.

About 18 Goals and 20 Assists.
He was great with Shakthar and followed by a lot of clubs, Dortmund bought him, he struggled a little bit but found his old form back last season which makes him an interesting target.

Yeah, Mourinho will have nothing to do with Raiola or Mendes....
Give over. Managers build relations, and keeping top agents sweet is important nowadays.
Doesn't he talk about 12 languages and has high education levels? Will fit in with Juan very well
Excellent, they'll be able to speak in several languages about how it's practically impossible to play them both in the same formation.

I've compared Mkhitariyan and De Bruyne before. De Bruyne had just turned 24 and was under a longer contract. While Mkhitariyan turned 27 in January, so while 3 and a half years doesn't sound like much, it is the difference between getting a player in his peak and a player who is still to reach his peak, while also maintaining a sell back value in a few years time. Mkhitariyan has only 1 year left on his contract as well. Both these factors drop his value dramatically. You might not believe it, but €25m is a very fair first bid under these circumstance. It's just your frustration that's blinding your judgement.Gündogan is injured min. until january! Then he will need time to get to his form again. You cant compare that. I can compare other things for example: De Bruyne got 51 games, 16 goals, 28 assists. Manchester Shity paid 74 Mio. €. Micki: 52 games, 23 goals, 32 assits. Sure he got only one year left, but hey, you are not poor, you paid totaly crazy amount of money for mediocre players in the past, Micki was the best "scorer" in whole europe last season, the best Bundesligaplayer. You dont have to come up with 75 € mio, but some more than 25 mio should be realistic. If you dont want to pay what Watzke got in mind, ok, its up to you.

No, its not. Offer something around 40 mio €, and i think Watzke will thinking over it. But United can think like you do, then they wont get him. You have to decide whats important: instant success and be back in the game for CL-spots, or save some money. What you got ? Time, or money?
6 (armenian, english, french, russian, portugese and spanish) and he's learning italian nowDoesn't he talk about 12 languages and has high education levels? Will fit in with Juan very well
Yes it is. Sorry but Mkhitariyan wants to leave Dortmund and has only a year left on his contract. Personally I would have bid under €20m initial bid, but as you say Woodward pays too much and he went for €25m. Besides, the first bid is never accepted, so if the transfer does happen, it'll rise to over €35m.No, its not. Offer something around 40 mio €, and i think Watzke will thinking over it.
