I normally keep quiet on these sort of things but just got a text from a mate who's in the know at Sky, if you get what I mean(He was spot on about the Carroll signing in 01). Anyway here's what the text says

''Have heard the deal(Mkhitaryan to United) has took a major set forward after executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward appear to arrive in a Bayern Munich shirt and well you know the rest''

We've got him lads. :drool::drool::drool::drool::drool:

I don't know you from Adam but I trust you implicitly.

I knew he was gonna be ours. I just knew it, I knew it, I knew it, I knew it, I knew it!

Well played, Woody.

Stats are good but is this really a top player we're potentially getting here? Serious question, I don't have time to watch the german league.

I seem to remember him being linked with Liverpool a few years back and then having a disaster season shortly after...

Yes he is a top player. He also showed himself to be smart enough as he rejected the scousers. The whole Dortmund had a disaster season, not only him.

Sounds good.

I'm just curious as to the benefit of getting him over say Mahrez.

Will someone explain to me about his supposed mental fragility?

That's an impressive track record!

"hey Micki, you're insane
If you think we can spell your name
Hey Micki
*clap clap clap*
Hey Micki"

The thought of 60,000 fully grown men bellowing this song out to the tune of "Hey Micki" is the greatest thing in the history of greatest things.

Sounds good.

He is a workhorse and very versatile, something which Mourinho loves. I would say he is the better fit to Mourinho's playstyle than Mahrez.

Would love him here. Looks like we have raiola on our side so it could be done.

Here are Raiolas words regarding the situation.

"It would be a sin to stop talking," said agent Mino Raiola.

"I am a positive guy. If I wasn't confident of reaching some kind of conclusion, I wouldn't try."

The Armenian has a year left on his contract and has told Dortmund he will not sign another deal, with United his preferred option.

Raiola added: "I am very proud Manchester United want him and the talks are being held in a good atmosphere, but at the moment Dortmund are still saying no."

I bet we don't even want him, but his agent is playing a "if you don't take him, i won't help you with Ibra or Pogba" game

Ok, I'm not completely serious, but can you imagine!

Raiolas quotes are extremely encouraging, this guy is doing everything in his power to get him to us. Atleast we're not on the opposite end for once.

Holy shit. This Raiola bloke really wants us to get him, doesn't he?

Dortmund give away their best players easily to Bayern yet holds a player who wants to leave back. It just shows that they will never be as good as Bayern.

If I was them I would cash in now, his attitude problems would make him perform worse and he would leave for free next year. Bayern would most likely be the team to snap him up, thus the cycle continues.

You nailed it. What a disgraceful club. Always begging their biggest rival to buy their best players so they will never win a title again but holding back the players who want to come to us who have never done anything bad to them. But luckily you are pointing it finally out. Maybe you should try and write a letter to their CEO and complain about how stupid this tactic is. I'm sure he will see sense in your arguments and give us Mikhi for free how we deserve it.

We got the "it is a sin" part down. Now roll on the "modern slavery" comparisons

I would actually love him at United, so creative and exactly the type of player the team needs.

Raiola is a cowboy.
What makes you say that? He talks more than your average agent, but it just sounds like he's doing his job to me. If you don't like that job then fair enough, I guess.

IMO he's helping Dortmund appease their fans, appearing they've done everything they could to keep him. Eventually he'll leave and it'll be excused that he was a wantaway and it was worth getting a good fee rather than losing him on a free in 12 months.
