Mata is the most limited player you've ever seen in football? Also we beat Chelsea twice when he was there, an incredibly open 3-1 game, and a 3-2 against 9 men (where Mata scored). Mata's weaknesses were hardly the source of those victories. We also lost to them, with Mata even scoring the winner.

About Mkhitaryan, I agree and would like him here. It makes no sense for people to turn up their noses at a Dortmund player who had a great season but demand we sign Leicester players for their freak seasons.

Yes he is! Lack of work rate, lack of pace, no power and aggression, he has a weak foot, and lack of physical attribute for any aspect strength and height. One of the most limit player you can ever find. He has a great personality, great touch, good in set piece, scored wonderful goal against Liverpool and that's it.
Sir Alex mentioned in the interview about his weakness that his defensive contribution is poor and used it to beat Chelsea 3-0 in 2011/2012.

Would love to see this Ferguson interview.

Don't think he ever said that about Mata.

If Gianluca mentions that BVB are after a replacement we're so in for him.

EDIT: but does he mean a replacement for next year or this year?

"Eventually" doesn't really suggest that we're in for him now. More likely when his contract expires and he moves on a free next summer?

Lets buy Schurrle and refuse to sell him to Dortmund.. just for the lolz

If rumours this morning are true about City being unwilling to pay the fee Dortmund demand for Aubameyang then they might be prepared to sell Mkhitaryan after all.

Yesss good news. Schürrle would be a below par replacement, but thats life. They still can get Embolo on loan from us as a sweetener.

Its all about the cash.

They'll sell rather than let him run down his contract and walk for free.

Thinking over it, i would like to hear from a serious offer from United. Its very unlikely that Watzke and Susi wouldnt come up with a replacement. I would prefer going on with a new bunch of players which are motivated as feck. Guerreiro for example seems to be a great new guy for us.

Thats the spirit, tell that Watzke. I like Guereiro so far from the little i have seen

Ok, then you talk to Woodward or whoelse is in charge for that. Something like 40 mio € is even in Uniteds "thank-you-box" or "kitty" (dont know how its called in english).

We are very traditional at United when it comes to transfers. All the money are kept in a giant war chest, in the form of golden coins. And contracts are sent by fax-machine (which we unplug when we dont want the transfer to go through.)

We have got a fax-machine, too! Sounds like it will happen.
We dont plug it off, but beside the faxmachine there are some answer-papers with different kinds of smilies on it so that we can answer quickly.

You are wired. You would have lampard baxk now this. Mkhitaryan ATM is twice the player.
Doesn't wired mean that somebody is twitchy? I do feel a bit twitchy to be fair, I'm yet to have breakfast!

I have never seen Mkhitaryan play to be quite honest with you. But I know Schurrle and rate him

I don't think it would be wise of BVB to keep a Mina Raiola client against his wishes. He is one of the dirtiest agents around and will do anything to get what his clients want.

I've been reading Zlatan's book and just read the chapter about the summer he left Juventus. Zlatan was advised to train all pre-season but not play a single minute in pre season matches to the point where everyone was waiting for him on the bus but decided to stay in his room and play video games. Deschamps (manager at Juve) went looking for him and Zlatan just ignored him and eventually said he wasn't going anywhere. Juve had no option but to sell him.

Now this could have been a mixture of Mina and Zlatan so could be different for Mkhitaryan but Mina will still do what he can and persuade him to behave in such manner.

With all of this I'm not sure we should sign too many of his clients. Especially a young star like Pogba. It would be a matter of time before it went tits up, whether he wanted a new contract or leave (again). Not suggesting we will at all but just an example of a young Mina client.

Zlatan obviously at he end of the road with his career so shouldn't be too much fuss and Mkhitaryan will be in his 30's when his proposed contract will be over and his best days behind him.

I think what we Need right now is a good mixture of experienced Players in their prime (not Players at the end of their career for 1 year) and Young Players that look as if they can make the jump into the category worldclass.
Players like Bailly, Martial, Shaw or Rashford are part of the second category and maybe 1 or 2 of the others like Memphis, Lingard etc. can also improve.
Someone like Mkhitaryan could be a good example of category 1. That Kind of Players are often nearly impossible to get. Just throwing Money around is not enough.
So if there is the Chance to sign someone with this Quality we should have a go.

I do hope you plan to share this ground breaking stratagem with the man at the top, Jose Mourinho, just in case it may have slipped his mind.

Pretty much. Why the people don't understand this?

Mkhitaryan is top quality, a chance creator and a player who scores goals. Can carry the ball, has vision, can strike with both feet and works hard for the team. Would be a very good signing for our right hand side. Hopefully this one comes true.

My issue with him was him was poor finishing once in those positions but he has apparently improved on that.

Yeah Dortmund can play him and develop him before big clubs buy him with 1 year left. Keep up the good work

This is a done dealio.

It's now time to think up a song for our new star singing. I'm not too hot when it comes to song lyrics, unfortunately, so I'll leave that side of things to the creative fans among us.

Also, and perhaps more importantly, how in the feckety feck do we pronounce his name:confused::confused:

I normally keep quiet on these sort of things but just got a text from a mate who's in the know at Sky, if you get what I mean(He was spot on about the Carroll signing in 01). Anyway here's what the text says

''Have heard the deal(Mkhitaryan to United) has took a major step forward after executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward appear to arrive in a Bayern Munich shirt and well you know the rest''

We've got him lads. :drool::drool::drool::drool::drool:
