We said before by the end of the experiment we’d be challenging for Europe.

Delighted with that and good news the team is entering its peak years on the whole.

We have no money but we have a chance at something special.

Should we try and win the league?

Winter Transfer Window - Highlights

Derby
signed a Japanese guy for 4.7m. I have no idea what's happening.

Sheff Utd bought Claudio Brignone for 7.5m (19yo CB)

Sunderland signed Tom Scrivener for 26m (20yo CB)

Bolton bought Gabriel Borreli for 4.2m (21yo AMR) and Harvey Araujo for 35.5m (27yo LB)

----------------

We’ve been dr-awful top 4 is the aim.

Going for big names in Pedri and WZE has clearly made a huge difference to Derby. They've stuck it out at the top and despite looking unlikely to win it due to Chelsea's dominance (about to do 5 in a row) they'll be extremely happy with their season.

Sheffield Utd also not far behind and in the top 4! Their defence has definitely improved as the season has gone on. Pino has 14 goals in all comps and 20 year old Jonathan Lawless has broken into the first team. He's bagged 11 goals in all comps. Sheffield Utd are also into the FA Cup SFs, facing Arsenal, after knocking out Sunderland in the Fifth Round. In Europa, they are in the QF against Toulouse.

Sunderland also on the cusp of top 4. Kroupi has been unreal and is set to have the highest scoring season since Haaland's 36 in 22/23. Sesko follows that up with 18 of his own. Apart from that they still lack goals though as their next top scorers are JMD with 7 and Abulai Cande with 4.

Bolton dropped off in Feb but have recovered a bit. Outside chance of CL though but could possibly get Europa or Conference with an upturn in form. Paez has been out for 4 weeks injured which hasn't helped.

I'm going to stick but in the summer I'd like an updated manager list please. Terrible season!

How do we lack goals - we are the 2nd highest top scoring team in the league

Sheff Utd knocked out of FA Cup and Europa, both by Arsenal.

1st June 2032 - Final Standings

Chelsea lost on the final day but they'd already won the title. However it doesn't change that Derby were a point away! What a crazy change for the perennial mid table boys. Champions League football next season for them!

Sunderland also finish the season very strongly, and Alonso has guided them to the Champions League as well. Kroupi has the best goalscoring season since Haaland's 36 in 22/23.

Sheff Utd get Champions League too! England regularly top the co-efficient and so the Blades sneak in to join their fellow caf owners.

Bolton will probably be getting fomo but they've not been terrible. Probably a manager change happening there though!

Awards

Golden Boot - Junior Kroupi (27)
Golden Glove - Marco Carnesecchi (12 CS)

Footballer of the Year & Player's Player of the Year - Dejan Kulusevski
Manager of the Year - Thiago Motta (Derby County)
Northwest Player of the Season - Kendry Paez (Bolton)
Player's Young Player of the Year - Laurent Amadou (Sheff Utd)

Player's Team of the Year: Basically Chelsea plus Al-Houti, Kulu and Kroupi.

We've been terrible. Paez injury appears to make us crumble. Amazing work by Derby.

Just noticed that we have finished with 58 points, 55 points and now 56 points in the last three league seasons. Apparently we don't want to break that 60 point barrier and are consistent but not pushing on that wee bit more!

Given Bolton’s somewhat precarious financial position, mid-table mediocrity, and small stadium size, maybe they could be open to some sort of outside investment. A minority stake a la SJR, to raise the funds for a new stadium and provide a fresh injection of capital and ideas into the playing squad?

We have won a European trophy, the Championship and the FA cup.apparently the FA cup bit is untrue according to the records.
The disrespect in those reputations is unreal!

We took the PL down to 1 point.

The league is your bread and butter.

Good news is we have another years growth for Darvich, Moore, Al-Houti, Steve and the gang.

Also Utd, Arsenal, Spurs and Bayern all sacked their managers. So I need to watch for poaching.
