Defeat for Sheffield Utd! Biggs popped up with another goal but it was too little too late. Maybe if @SilentWitness hadn't sold Bradley Barcola things would all be different.
Can we check the ref's bank on this please? We know what that lot are like.

Haven't got time to send squad lists or anything so will do that tomorrow.

You're all struggling a bit so maybe I'll have a think and let you all get an extra superstar or something.
Maybe we could have one normal transfer and one free agent/player under the age of 19 or something.

Don't think we need to make any changes tbh. We already get to buy a player, lock a player down and sell anyone we don't want.

That's true, we just have to deal with the cycle of AI buying crap > us selling to try and offload that and make money > AI buying crap again. :( :D

That's part of the fun I think. Bowen wasn't a pick we'd have made but he ended up being a successful purchase.

I'd prefer a full squad lockdown, then at the end of every season we can buy 3 / sell 3. But might be too late to implement.

I prefer keeping it how it is and letting AI do the work.

Biggest attendance, lowest wage, still lose more money. Can't win.

@altodevil @BD @sebsheep @SilentWitness @The Cat @BenitoSTARR

To assist you this summer and let you come closer to perfecting your squads, I will allow 3 signings:

1. Your regular signing for the median price.
2. A second signing for half the median price.
3. A free (blindly picked) wonderkid signing. Tell me the position you want. I will give you a number of players that show up in my parameters for that position. Tell me a number and you get that player automatically. No looking at stats, value, etc.. You just mystery box it.

We take long enough deciding on 1 player
 It's fine. I won't have as much time this week so happy to take Season 9 slow.

I'm in Montenegro next week so this will take a break til the week after. We'll go past 10 seasons.

Sometimes we ask to look at what seems to be a top player and they come back with zero dots

Also I just noticed the screenshots again from Solius regarding award wingers and we have an Argentine right midfielder called Leonel Tunessi...sounds suspicious.

Ok Season 9!

Everyone had the chance to really revamp this summer, so let's see what they did.

Sheffield Utd ummed and aah'd but eventually settled on:

- Vanja Petanjek - A 23 year old CB from Madrid (£96.5m as the half price option)
- Stefano Ferrari - A 23 year old LB (£26.7m) and yes one his big green attributes is pace.

Their wonderkid is 18 year old German RB Alexander Felder. He's currently been put in the U21s but I'm sure he'll make the first team in no time.

-----------------

Sunderland kinda had a big one. @altodevil sacked De Zerbi after almost 7 years in charge and splashed out nearly 60m to hire Xabi Alonso! In order for the players to fit Xabi's 5-3-2 formation with wingbacks, he sold almost half his squad, including Garnacho and Yamal for huge amounts - making over 500m in sales. With wages included he made back a total of 950m and put it all back in his owner funds. The players he then went for were:

- Leo - A 19 year old 6ft6 CB from Real Betis who costs £42m.
- Abdulai Cande - 21 year old CM/CAM from Utd who was £72.7m at half price.

His wonderkid is 17 year old RWB Pjero Vatkovic who was greeted through the door by alto saying "shite" when he saw him.

-----------------

Derby went big on their midfield!

- Warren Zaire-Emery - The 25 year old CM signs for £66.7m as their half price buy.
- Pedri also comes in. The 28 year old signs for 102m!

Their wonderkid is 18 year old left-back Rolly Munganga. Eligible for England, Belgium and the DR Congo, there may be a fight for him internationally. He's also 6 ft 3!

-----------------

Bolton went for LB and midfield as key positions:

- 24 year old Marc Bernal signs to shore up the midfield. He cost £34.7m as the HP option and was looked at by a few of the other clubs!
- Patrick Dorgu is the new Bolton LB. He cost £32.3m from Benfica, and both signings were covered from the club bank balance.

The wonderkid is 19 year old Greek god Dynonatas! Ok he's actually Peruvian but still, what a name. He's a goalkeeper btw.
