I don't disagree with any of this. The question at this moment is what are the options to replace him with right now that would salvage a better season than what ETH is capable of.
Honestly, I think most options would improve the club. The issue is that we don't want to employ a Manager that will take us to simply top 6 level, they have 'ambition' of making us title challengers. So by that notion, they need a Manager that has that potential. Having a stepping stone Manager doesn't fit with their time frame. They've painted themselves into a corner by making that ambition public. I do think we'd have a list of suitors who would fill in as a Caretaker until the Summer.
Remember, this is a Manager who's best win in the PL is probably Villa away since the City 2:1 win on Jan 14, 2023. We simply cannot beat any decent team and we lost on a consistent basis. Either we have a shit squad of players or the Manager is terrible. I'm hoping it's the second option.
