It's not impossible to extract the eggs from a cake but surely the onus on showing everyone how to do it is those who said it would be the easiest process in human history, not on those who pointing out it'd be bloody hard?

That's all Brexiters have.

"Just get on with it!"

how

"Get on with it!"

with what?

"Brexit!"

how do we deliver Brexit!

"Just get on with it!"

how about the Irish border?

"Yes, get on with that!"

how?

"Just get on with it!"

...makes you despair, doesn't it?

Oh feck off. Talk sensibly or don’t make me quote you. You’re already an oddball without this shit

Oh dear I've been 'pwned' (is that a thing?) by a twat named after an actor with saggy tits.

“Brexit was impossible”. You are fecking mental Paul

Problem is many of our MPs have done the same as you. Throw their arms up in the air and cry, say it’s all impossible. You can be forgiven but you aren’t paid for it. Very sad

It is impossible without breaking the GFA. Which is exactly why the negotiations are where they are.
That is why May keeps saying she's not going to break up the UK and also not putting a hard border. Yes Brexit is possible if you do one of those things.

But it is impossible to do what May wants to do and that is why she can't come up with a solution.
And this was pointed out a thousand times before the vote.

People still don't, even now, understand what the problem is.

He doesnt give a shit about the GFA. His arguing position is flawed from the start.

There will be some issues. I have seen and heard them all first hand. It’s wont be done by March but we can make adjustments at the border to make things as smooth as possible. Nobody said the GFA can’t be adjusted. Unless you think it’d currently flawless?

Shame we have wasted 2 years

It'd be nice to be a Brexiter sometimes, I think. Never having to think through anything just demand things be done and be done quickly because you haven't thought about it much so can't see why it can't happen fast.

If they just admit they are mostly racist xenophobes then we can try to move on with that, but they wont.

Apart from the social issue and the problems of possible troubles, the UK can't have an open border if they leave the CU/SM and go to WTO rules. May says the UK are leaving the CU and SM. And so does Corbyn if he ever got into that position of power.

It'll be technology that already exists that for some inexplicable reason I cannot think of, nobody seems to be able to name.

The Irish border can has been kicked down the road for 2 years and in one month the road will be at an end. Reality time.

They'll kick it down further if they can. The govt's plan now is to undoubtedly get an agreement that there'll be an agreement later, or a "transition" period whereby nothing changes at all and we do everything again in 2020.

If they can, but the transition period is looking extremely unlikely at the moment - if May doesn't change her stance dramatically there won't be one.
This is why the EU insisted on this timetable - Citizens rights, the Irish Border and the bill.
How right they were.

UK can't get to second base without all this agreed.

So the solution is to wait for the Republic's politicans to agree to altering the GFA (despite it being political suicide for them to do so) for the sake a Brexit that neither the Republic or NI want? Presumably by first tricking them into forgetting that their whole stance on Brexit is based on the desire to protect the GFA in the first place?

At which point they'll also presumably convince NI nationalists that saving the Brexit they don't want is worth accepting changes to the GFA that they'll naturally find unacceptable, all because it's in the UK's interest for them to do so?

Sounds very plausible. If only someone had suggested imperialist dictating before now.

The republics politicians will do no such thing.

Its such a excuse every time I hear that. I voted NF as it was the only way to defeat tory boy in my council. feck me

That’s bollocks, people were generally still voting for a party that followed their ideals, just not on one particular issue. Or maybe you think 60+% of the Labour Party voted Remain but then just all changed their minds or didn’t really care?
