Do you think there will be a Deal or No Deal?

  • Total voters
    194
  • Poll closed .
It's a smart move from a party with only 15 seats

It was their only remaining option to win votes because let's not forgot they're fighting Labour for votes and would gladly let Tories win a seat rather if they gained some percentage.

The difference between how the Tories respond to Howarth vs Swinson is interesting. Is it just the Tories' sexism that makes them more willing to shout at her?

Bold move by Lib Dems. Could make sny future GE interesting as many Tory/Labor remain voters will vote for them to avoid leaving if at all possible.

Bill Cash should really consider his colleagues before lecturing opposition MPs to respect their constituents. Boris and Mogg constituencies now poll for remain for instance.

Bored I’d imagine, as I’m approaching comparable levels of apathy from listening to it.

The fact that everyone knows that Boris will lose his 6th vote in a row kind of sucks the life out of it. It's all just a piece of theater at this point.

Vote result: PM defeated

Ayes: 293

Noes: 46

The PM needed two-thirds of all 650 MPs to support a snap general election if he was to be successful in taking the country to the polls.

Is that 5/5 votes lost now?

Corbyn has been on form.

That Tory back bench is something else, smug gits.

Over to Boris to see if he caves or flouts the law. He'll feck it up all by himself.
He's fecked either way. He's left with either owning the consequences of no deal (and going against the law) or caving in. He really isn't the sharpest tool in the shed.

Quite astonishing scenes to watch in parliament as the house is finally 'prorogued' after a lengthy night of abusing each other.

Opposition MPs refuse to go to Lords, and scream 'Shame on You' GoT style as Tories walk out.

Raab basically gave the game away yesterday that they were going to push it to the courts first. I think Grieve said they've already prepared for that though.

Now is he going to resign or will he accept the instructions of the courts rather than parliament

Fecking Tories doing the rounds this morning, make my blood boil

I'm sure he's looking for legal cover to get around the law... Most probably we are ending up in the courts (could it end up in the European courts of justice?...)

Can't see it ending up in the courts. If he refuses by the 20th or so, he'd be out on his ass for a GNU. If he refused that and decided to squat in office, they'd most certainly move for impeachment. He's fecked.
