Swinson has already ruled this out.
Realistically that doesn’t mean anything. If it’s a hung parliament and them refusing coalition was going to hand power to a hard right government coalition, then they might be left with no real choice. Especially if coalition meant they could force another referendum.
Although the last coalition hurt them badly, being the main remain party and then passing up their only opportunity for a new referendum would probably hurt them just as much.
It's possibly but I never underestimate the liberal dislike of socialists but more importantly I never underestimate the sheer incompetence of the lib dem party. The fact what you've said makes sense gives me all the more reason to think the lib dems will do the opposite.
Plus I'm not that sure the lib dems will do that great if there's another general in the near future. Mostly because their whole shtick is Brexit and its very hard to get the focus on one topic for a whole general election. Labour could easily back another referendum and it would kill of the lib dem threat(Also Swinson voting record not only makes her easy to attack but she is pretty much a liberal tory, which in fairness is could really hurt the tories).

Not sure whether the EU are so ready to give us more time. Macron was against it last time and numerous others now believe he was correct given how the U.K. totally wasted the time they were given.
Well firstly Johnson would have to ask for an extension, and that seems unlikely. And even if he did, for an election, Johnson looks like winning that election on a no deal manifesto, so why should the EU agree the extension in the first place?
Wasn’t there a leak that said that the new person in charge of negotiations for the EU was open to a further extension?
He could easily say that he’s being blocked by parliament and the only way to fulfill his promise is through a general election and an extension is required for it.
It has to be agreed by all the heads of state though I believe.
Which isn't going to happen given a no deal would still likely be followed by years of negotiations with the EU, with all the same problems that currently exist, except with the UK in a weaker position and a severely damaged relationship between both sides. One wonders how much of the 45% realise this.

People just want Brexit to be over, regardless of how that's achieved. A big part of that appears to be because they're bored of the current news cycle and want something different to read about. That kind of thinking is really dangerous and only compounds the stupidity of it all.

24 hours news channels and social media gives us a constantly moving conveyor belt of news. Combine that with MPs debating for weeks about Brexit, then be unable to find a resolution and then vote down ALL options, you get a Parliament in 'paralysis' over Brexit, with a media constantly having to report on little to no progress, resulting in Brexit fatigue or Brexit burnout.

Only real change I can think of, is that we've gone from 'of course we can remain part of the single market, german industry will demand it', to 'feck business' and 'leave on 31st do or die'.

IronicI haven't followed this closely but wouldn't 'no deal' essentially mean that any transactions with other EU countries would become very difficult for UK based companies? What duties and taxes would they apply, and what regulations would even be used - would they have to be separately negotiated with each EU member?
Yes I’ve just read that they are looking “very carefully” at imposing direct rule again in NI. They should tread very very carefully unless they want to really return to the 80s
They have to deal with the whole of the EU as one - life is so much easier when everyone has the same regulations. With no agreement it's WTO rules. If the UK leave with no deal they will have no agreements with anyone , not just the EU.
