Brexited | the worst threads live the longest

Do you think there will be a Deal or No Deal?

If anyone needs an insight into the majority of people that voted Brexit, check out the responses to this status

Han Brown is a wind up account that started by taking the piss out of the Manchester music scene. Just been reopened and has reeled in a tonne of leavers. Whoever runs it sponsored the post to get more people to see it, and one idiot thinks that means someone has sponsored it like you would sponsor someone to swim a mile or something, and has threatened to report it if it's publicly funded.

Almost all of them can't even work out that Han is a girl's name.

Who gives a shit about the country anyway? A party needs to be kept together.

I think her government would collapse before that happened. There are still some sane people in the cabinet. Although we could still crash out by accident in those circumstances.

That thread is pretty grim

Bullshit. She will be sacrificed on the alter of Brexit whatever it turns out to be. You should be worried about who comes after her - from whatever side.

They delusional

Immigration had been proven to be positive for every economy. They use more services but they generate way more taxes to compensate as they are sane and in a good age to not get sick, also they came here to make money, not to be on welfare (there is that odd exception like in anything else, like locals too)

And they will never have a better deal with 27 of their neighbours (the most important economies because of their proximity) like the one they have now.

That are FACTS

The only thing will be to strike new trade deals with other economies. That no-one can know, depends on if in UK you have mastermind trade dealers, and seeing their proficiency on brexit I doubt it. Also is less probable to have worse deals being a tiny economy of 60 millions than inside the EU. But as I said, no one knows.

But the first 2 facts? are indisputable

You don't need to convince me

feck sake now she wants more time again. No organisation would allow this level of incompetence, they're u-turning and not even delivering on what the commons passed.

The naked pro-Europe campaigner Victoria Bateman has repeated her challenge to a debate with the arch-Brexiter Jacob Rees-Mogg on live TV but has dropped her demand that the Tory MP should also take off his clothes for the event

Jesus this whole ordeal has really made me lose any faith I had in the UK.

The fact that so many leavers are doubling down at this point....it just boggles belief.

OK. So a CU or FTA with the EU would not overcome the Irish border issue?

You can see why people get confused because I have taken the time to check these things out and:
Corbyn is talking about A Permanent CU with the EU.
From what I have read, that would overcome the Irish border issue.

I have just listened to the HoC update on the radio.
In response to TM, JC stated that the reason why he wants a 'Legally Binding Customs Union with the EU' is to ensure that there can be a frictionless trade and no hard border border in Ireland and so overcome the the need for the backstop.
These are not his precise words but essentially that is what he said. He most certainly said the words Legally binding customs union with the EU and did not say Free Trade Agreement and he did not say remain in the EUCU.

Now. I mentioned this yesterday and was told that I was wrong and that I didn't understand which I accepted.
If Jeremy Corbyn is wrong then I would suggest that someone needs to tell the leader of the opposition that he doesn't understand and that he is wrong.

BREXIT is going to be the major theme in British politics for the rest of all our lifetimes - aint that depressing.

I'm travelling to the UK for a wedding on 4th April. It'll be interesting to see where things are at by then.

That's what we've been saying since he released his cunning plan.

Being in 'A' not 'THE'.

You can't have a custom's union where you can have unilateral deals and have open borders. Page 1025 covers most of it.
May's told him he's wrong.

He is wrong, it's the vague wording that's confusing people.

Edit: Has someone from the British media (without an agenda) and who knows what they're talking about questioned him thoroughly on exactly what his points mean.

Because if they did this vagueness from him could be cleared up within 15 minutes.

I was hoping you would comment.
His exact words are on the BBC website. I have checked and he is indeed talking about A Customs Union as opposed to the EUCU.

Assuming you are correct and he is incorrect, it is surprising is it not that neither TM or anyone else did not correct him.
In particular I would have expected K Starmer to have informed him.
He claims (see the BBC) that he has support from the EU....
