The instant Antony came on Amad really came to life, and the two of them combined very well multiple times to get into dangerous areas. The movement and quick one-twos really improved both our progression out from the back and also our attacking threat.
Just like Amad teamed up oh so well with Patrick Roberts at Sunderland. Was a joy to watch.
Would not be raging mad if we bought a guy like Jarrod Bowen to improve on Antony tough..

Would like to see more goals from him but I've been impressed with him this season.

Because Antony is the only other actual attacker we've played in that role.

If it's Mazraoui then you still have the exact same problem: you're removing one of our bigger attacking threats to play a less able attacking player (in this case a fullback) instead. Which inevitably hurts your attack more than simply continuing with Amad in the role he's been thriving and having an extra attacker on the pitch does.

It's not a coincidence that Amorim has so regularly played an attacking player in at least one of those wingback positions, both here and at Sporting. Playing two fullbacks in those roles instead is a very defensive set-up. We're not playing Arsenal every week, in the majority of games we need much more attacking threat than Dalot/Mazraoui can provide.
Mazraoui is known for his dribbling and for being good offensively.

I don't know what you guys see in Amad...

Sign him to a long contract as soon as possible. He is the player to build the team around.

We weren't lying when we said he should be playing more.

EtH playing Forson and Maz as our 10 over him gets madder by the game.

Start apologising to him now everyone who doubted him since he joined. He ALWAYS had this btw. ALWAYS. But he never got that consistent run of games till now. One of the few rays of light in a dark season to this point.

Even besides the goal and penalty, he was by far our best attacker. Trickery and pace, we've finally found a consistent right side attacker we can depend upon.

Shame on everyone who doubted this guys clear, obvious ability.

What the hell was ETH up to? Utter clown show that he was allowed to stay on and not play this lad.

I was so wrong about him. He's absolute class...plays so confidently, always feels like he's got so much time on the ball, makes good decisions. Love him.
