Baller.

Injuries and Ten Hag wasted a couple years of his development. Still, he is going to he a top top player if he continues to work hard & doesn't start to chill after the new shiny contract he is going to get.

Amad was one of our threats today but watching the game I feel like he's shown more when he has space outwide.

I wanted to see what he was like as one of the #10s. However, I think I like him at wingback a little more.

Shaw, wait for it… when fit
Oh, absolutely. He's been so unreliable that I've subconsciously excluded him from any squad assessments but he does have the quality.

He is a player we can expect something from, someone that will create you a moment with direct running and he has delivered under Amorim.

He is becoming our best player. I love watching him.
Still, like him more on wing back where he has more space and one on one situations.

Antony also has good close control, as does Mount, I suppose, but we’re not the most technically gifted team. Nor the most athletic tbf. One of the more expensive, we are. It’s something.

Still shows his age at times but he's having a good season, hopefully encourages more punts of his ilk going forward.

I would say he along with Maz is the best player a the club on current form period. He is the only attacker we have who is putting in consistently good performances.

I thought he was poor tonight actually. Started early on when he could have played Bruno through but didn't get his head up at all and chose the wrong pass.

But that one big moment of quality was ace.

Poor is harsh but he was average by his standards. Still he seems the only player to have a moment of magic to turn the game around. Our best player at the moment.

Forgot about that actually, yeah that was such poor decision making (and even his pass to rashford was poor really).

He was better in the second half, created at least a couple of good chances with his carrying of the ball

He has quite a few weak decisions still in him, but look at the good he did today as well: Most of our potent or semi-potent attacks he had a hand in. And he does the ABC work to boot. He keeps the ball in midfield as one of few players today. For me, with several annoying decions, he still was one of the two or three best players on the pitch.

Our most threatening player every freaking game. Knowing the same, i was very surprised when he didn't start at Arsenal. Hope Amorim has learned to play our best player this season each game. Let the other knobs be rotated.

Yes we get the ball out to the wingbacks a lot more than our 10s so hes likely to be involved less. Bruno is our only 10 who knows that if he hasnt had a touch for a few mins he can come deeper to get on the ball and help us play from there at times

Definitely our best offensive player currently. But have to say I like him more as our RWB than as one of the 10s, i think having more room and time there suits him better currently.

Would love to see more of him in the same role. I think he has a lot more to give there. He has a really good forward pass on him, just need to get used to playing there which is of course very different from the RWB role.
But he might be forced to play RWB since the other options there are not very good.

I didn't think he was great either but easily the best of the starting forwards and played a big role in the first goal. What I do like is that he keeps going even when things aren't coming off. Zirkzee by contrast just looks lost half the time and I have no idea what's up with Rashford but Amad just keeps going and trying to make things happen.

Yeah true.

Not sure him being the best of the bunch means much given how poor the other starting forwards were but I do really like how tenacious he is.

Those two along with Mainoo and Mount are technically our best players.

Lisandro and Shaw too.

But amongst the forward players, he sticks out like a sore thumb. Like Sancho but with much greater work rate. We need more footballers with the qualities he has.

Probably a bit greedy at times today, but he's our most dangerous player. Not great in the first half, much better in the second I felt.

That skill for the first goal was a thing of beauty.. Needs a few more games in the 10 position so he strikes a partnership with Hojlund.

Aside from some ooor decision making at times, he had a nice game second half, one of the few players we have who can control a football, dribble, make one touch layoffs etc.

Hope he starts Sunday.

He was ok. A bit overpraised for last night's game IMHO
He had an off game for sure, by his standards. Still one of the best on the pitch i would say.
He is still the one with that quality that can unlock a defense and set a player in a good position. A game changer. That guy would stack up assists like crazy if his teammates were good enough in front of goal.

Game after game hes MOTM. Eth must have been blind.
He was not, he just played favourites. It was obvious from the first season, but you were not allowed to say that on the CAF though without several people jumping at you.

ETH chose his favourites, and the standards were always different for them.

I think that was largely due to not having an attacking wingback behind him. The instant Antony came on Amad really came to life, and the two of them combined very well multiple times to get into dangerous areas. The movement and quick one-twos really improved both our progression out from the back and also our attacking threat.

I'm happy with Amad in either role, both for now and in the long term. We just need to make sure our other options are good as well, so that when he plays #10 he has a suitable wingback beside him and when he plays wingback he's got a suitable #10 to play off. In the short term I'm definitely hoping to see Antony behind him again to see if that was the start of a good partnership or if it was a one-off, and also at some stage to have Mazaoui there who probably won't be as attacking but has the ball control and passing that might really make a great combo.
