Shaw, wait for it… when fitMainoo as well. But yeah, it's those three and a huge chasm between them and the rest.
Oh, absolutely. He's been so unreliable that I've subconsciously excluded him from any squad assessments but he does have the quality.Shaw, wait for it… when fit
Antony also has good close control, as does Mount, I suppose, but we’re not the most technically gifted team. Nor the most athletic tbf. One of the more expensive, we are. It’s something.Oh, absolutely. He's been so unreliable that I've subconsciously excluded him from any squad assessments but he does have the quality.
Poor is harsh but he was average by his standards. Still he seems the only player to have a moment of magic to turn the game around. Our best player at the moment.I thought he was poor tonight actually. Started early on when he could have played Bruno through but didn't get his head up at all and chose the wrong pass.
But that one big moment of quality was ace.
Forgot about that actually, yeah that was such poor decision making (and even his pass to rashford was poor really).I thought he was poor tonight actually. Started early on when he could have played Bruno through but didn't get his head up at all and chose the wrong pass.

He has quite a few weak decisions still in him, but look at the good he did today as well: Most of our potent or semi-potent attacks he had a hand in. And he does the ABC work to boot. He keeps the ball in midfield as one of few players today. For me, with several annoying decions, he still was one of the two or three best players on the pitch.I thought he was poor tonight actually. Amad was one of our threats today but watching the game I feel like he's shown more when he has space outwide.
I wanted to see what he was like as one of the #10s. However, I think I like him at wingback a little more.
I didn't think he was great either but easily the best of the starting forwards and played a big role in the first goal. What I do like is that he keeps going even when things aren't coming off. Zirkzee by contrast just looks lost half the time and I have no idea what's up with Rashford but Amad just keeps going and trying to make things happen.I thought he was poor tonight actually. Those two along with Mainoo and Mount are technically our best players.
Maybe it is time to throw him under the tram.Too much pressure is being piled on to him at this point, but the fact is he isnt that good at the moment and passes to the opposition more than his trammates.
He had an off game for sure, by his standards. Still one of the best on the pitch i would say.He was ok. A bit overpraised for last night's game IMHO
He was not, he just played favourites. It was obvious from the first season, but you were not allowed to say that on the CAF though without several people jumping at you.Game after game hes MOTM. Eth must have been blind.
I think that was largely due to not having an attacking wingback behind him. The instant Antony came on Amad really came to life, and the two of them combined very well multiple times to get into dangerous areas. The movement and quick one-twos really improved both our progression out from the back and also our attacking threat.Amad was one of our threats today but watching the game I feel like he's shown more when he has space outwide.
