I remember Sunderland fans said he was the best player they'd ever seen play for them, then he wasn't given a chance here.
Love him.

Yeah perfectly summarised. Still rough round the edges, few poor runs that put him offside and sometimes he's still wasteful in good spaces. But he's the only one who looks like he can make something happen out of nowhere, for example that one run in the second half he just skipped their left back on the wing in the middle of the pitch ran till our box and put in a brilliant cross to Dalot.Neville called him "The bright spark" quite early in the 2nd half. First half he was making runs too early and caught offside 2 or 3 times. 2nd half he got on the ball and had a few runs at the defence, even if it didnt work out he was positive. He wanted to try and make something happen and slightly more luck with the bounce of the ball and it might have worked out. Then he's able to pounce on the bad pass from Nunes using his speed and is cool enough to win the penalty. To be honest the City defending on his goal is pretty bad as he initially makes a run, sees the ball isnt coming and then Lisandro plays a ball over the top and he tries to chase it. The ball is perfect for him to run onto and in a similar situation to how he won the penalty this time he shoots and finds the net. Fantastic
Not his best performance by any means, but he was pretty much our only threat and he took his chances in the 2nd half that got us all 3 points. Fantastic contribution
He was definitely angry! Remember when he came on in EtH's last game as a last resort sub? He was completely done. I think he would've left in January had we not sacked ten Hag.That was the genius ETH"s 3D chess approach. Amad will thank Mowbray and now ETH for this improvement.
Humiliation and anger tends to motivate a player. EtH knew this
You realise garnacho is 2 years younger than him right? So fecking good.
Just don't turn into another Januzaj or Garnacho, please!
16 isn't a bad number tbfThank heavens that wing back bollocks is over anyway. He should be wearing Rashford’s short number next season.
I remember years ago on here when I said he was not leas talented than Foden I was ridiculed. Boy has become a man now.
Magic! Please continue playing him as forward.
Remember when many people made different excuses why Ten Hag didn't play him?
And you could always understand it if we actually had some decent player ahead of him, but it was mostly out of form Anthony, or even the likes of Garnacho/Rashford out of form and position, and it was always an obvious mistake, even if he would play bad it woudn't be a mistake forcing him because there imwas nothing to lose there.

I’ll die on the hill that we unnecessarily delayed his development until now.
It’s worked out good in the end but we could’ve seriously ruined a phenom prodigy with how things were going up until now
More like hoping Garnacho doesn’t turn into the next JanuzajSo fecking good.

No afcon this winter.Soo are we losing him for afcon?
Talisman in the making, he better get the 7 shirt next summer
