Expires next summer but with a one year extension. Rumours a few weeks back we were negotiating a new deal also Amad mentioned he was happy and would like to stay. I'd imagine INEOS must be thinking about acting quick here to get him tied to a new contract based on his recent performances.

That's why Amorim is paid the big bucks, he can see things you cant.

Not sure if you have read or heard his presser, he says the RWB is more a RW. We also saw that in the set up, Antony / Amad were up there with the press.

Also, whatever anyone says, Mount is our best pressing player, the way he presses and can receive the ball in between lines.

His RWB plays like an offensive RWB, high and wide in possession, deep in our own half defending without. Amad can do a good job there but we need his ability as close to the opponent’s box as possible. Mazraoui in that position with Amad ahead of him makes far more sense. Hopefully that’s what we’ll see once we have De Ligt, Martinez and Yoro available.

There was alot of times in that game our RWB and LWB got the balls into very dangerous positions. This way we are attacking with an additional attacker, rather than stacking the team with defenders.

For when we play Arsenal away, I agree with you, add the extra defender but at home against lower quality teams, I am happy with having a winger at RWB.
 
Our best player at the moment alongside Amad. We need to tie him down to a new contract as soon as possible.
 
He’s my favourite player. So much fun to watch, and now he’s really putting a shift in and consistently contributing to goals. Should arguably have had a pen at the end there.
 
This is why some of us were so rabid about him not playing at basically any opportunity he could have, btw.
 
Just continually surprised by the intensity and drive he has to win the ball back. Puts so many of our players with far more physical gifts to shame.

Grabbed his chances under Amorim with both hands. You expect him to be neat and tidy and threatening going forward, but that work rate is exactly what will make him a guaranteed starter under the new boss.
 
Technical sensational. Amorim keeps talking about characteristics and Amad couldn't be any more ideal in that regard.
 
I thought he was made for one of the #10 roles under Amorim. I still would like to see him get a chance there but he's the best option we have at RWB right now and I hope he keeps this up. Really happy for the kid
 
This guy is going to be one of the best players in the world. Elite vision, elite strength, elite passing and shooting at his age plus the fact he works hard which a lot of players with high potential fail to do. We have a star on our hand.
 
Amad gets a 9 from me today. I know it’s history now, but it really is mad how the previous manager froze him out.
 
Falling more and more in love with him as our player. So silky, so good and so much tenacity. He was only missing a goal today for me to give him a 10. Imo.
