Wish we'd sign Dibling. Him and Amad doing rotations at those right sided positions during the game would be fecking lethal between the two of them.
That would be nice but I reckon we'll see Dalot as the RWB in the medium to long term since we're searching for a LWB. I'm okay with that, I think he can offer us a lot from there if he can get into form again.

Of all of the clown antics that went on with ten Hag, the way he treated a clearly talented Amad was right up there with "Washie will play until he scores".

Meanwhile in Italy, Forson has played a total of 57 minutes in Serie A for Monza and scored 0 goals.

It's madness really. Forson currently plays for the Monza u20s and he ETH thought he should start over Amad.

Has he ever really demonstrated he can deliver end product going forward?

We are bound to replace Antony when he leaves, whomever comes in will be a contender for the rwb role. The young lad at Sporting comes to mind.

That's not the role he's been playing until now. He's been asked to invert into midfield over the past couple of seasons. I think he can be effective on the right for us by using his athleticism to create space for Amad to operate in.

Arguably he is better as a bit more inside as #10 than as a pure right winger. It allows him to mix it up.
He is better in between the position available on this system. He is either too inside taking out some part of his game ( running at defenders) or too deep playing as wing back. Great Manager will tweak the system enough to let your best player play in their most effective position.

Probably a good shout but we seem to be prioritizing a LWB ahead of the opposite flank.
I am a bit annoyed we haven't seen a single Dalot game at that spot yet (at least I don't think?).
I don't think we have either, I think he could make the position his own.

Not only that, he knew Forson's contract was ending, and instead of investing to a player he would have, he picked the other less talented one who would leave in few months anyway.

Amad's made me realize that even at this level professional footballers still have loose touches. I've seen him disposes too many fullbacks/defenders this season just by being alert to poor touches and pouncing on them.

Happens at least once every game it seems.

Is it true that only 3 players have scored an hat trick in the last 10 mins of a prem game and all 3 played for us. Ole, Rooney and Diallo

it’s becoming impossible not to put Amad in the starting line up each game. I know he’s only young but he’s really grabbed the bull by the horns and put his playing time to good use.

Crazy to think he’s only 22 and will get even better. Give him the number 7 shirt!

Very rarely. Most recently against Arsenal where we sat behind the ball, then got sent off shortly in the 2nd half and then against Bournemouth where he was starting to build a decent connection with Amad....and then got switched to the left after half time. Typical really. He's been a victim of his availability, versatility and sometimes his own stupidity.

I've been banging on about it for a long time but Maz at RCB, Dalot at RWB and Amad in the 10 would be a very strong right side that we've failed to utilise. I'd be happy for someone like Malacia on the LWB (to protect/cover Martinez) or Garnacho if we're brave enough. Rather we give players a platform to perform than spread ourselves thin in hope of balance.

Couldn’t understand why people were saying he had a poor game before the goals. I thought he was our most dangerous player the entire time.

Exactly. Dont know what the hell people were watching. He was by far our best player even before the goal. They just fed him the ball and got out of the way. Its the same thing he did at the Etihad when nearly everyone else in red had their heads down. He just kept going and going.

He's doing well but let's keep our noses to the grindstone. But i don't think he's that type.
I'm really liking Amorim's handling of him in interviews, always mentions "he's having a good moment but needs to continue improving" and if reporters keep asking questions he mentions how we've seen talents not deliver in the past at this club so needs to remain grounded.

To be fair Ten Hag did similar with Garnacho

Loan players are a bit of a weird thing in football. I know we’ve had Weghorst and Sabitzer who were generally viewed as not good enough stop gap options but for lower league teams, why would the fans get invested in essentially developing a player to succeed elsewhere? This is where Amad was interesting to me because Sunderland fans, even to this day, love the lad, and I think you’d be hard pressed to find a player who has connected with fans as much as Amad at Sunderland. His technical ability is obviously a large part in this but I think it’s more to do with heart and desire. Amad is absolutely the best player currently at United which is simultaneously credit to him, but also shame on the club that they had him on the books and sanctioned an £80million purchase of Antony. I hope that we invest more wisely and get more players on Amad’s level for him to link up with

Seriously it was a mismanagement by Glazer to appoint ETH. ETH never rated anyone at United and decided to bring in own players. Amad was ready after his loan with Sunderland. Yes, he might be injured from time to time but ETH decided to keep him out of the squad in order to justify Antony's price tag. ETH will be paying for his mistakes by not finding a job in top tier football, deservedly punish. Amad's story emphasis how bad ETH was a manager where he couldn't recognise talents within the club.

That's correct. Rooney and Ole scored 4 in them games but 3 in the last 10. Hasn't happened with another club

He should win a lot of penalties.
But, we all know the reluctance of PL referees to award penalties to United.
Once we get a dangerous L10 and striker upfront, it will open much more space for him to run at players and he will become even more dangerous and will win more pens.

He look’s very confident when dribbling, like he’s realised he’s good enough and has the beating of the opposition.

He needs to be managed carefully, but just based on the above i feel like his trajectory is going to skiyrocket very quickly.
