And i’m also sure he has hit the woodwork at least 3 times this season in the league only.
Seems like he hits the woodwork every game.

Massive potential, hopefully he doesn't squander it.

“Next week, next game, new life, they are fighting for their places but for me, it’s important, the performance in training, the performance in game, the way you dress, the way you eat, the way you engage with teammates, the way you push your teammates, everything is important when we want to change a lot of things."
said Amorim

Wonder what he meant by that? Did he say dress or press?

Dress. In fairness turning up to a training session dressed up like a clown is something Fergie wouldn't have tolerated either. It's about mutual respect among colleagues. They're footballers not a group of rappers.
Maybe that's what he meant.

In the terms of Garnacho, he just needs to turn down his arrogance a bit. Amorim seems to love humble, hardworking players. He is hardworking already, just need to keep his head down and play. That's about it. And since Amorim said it was not disciplinary we can put down the rumors of him leaking lineups.

Considering he's talking about their attitude and preparation for training/games it's probably as straightforward as how they act in the dressing room when putting thier kit on. Not necessarily a judgement on someone's chino's.

It may even be a dig at Garnacho's stroppy shinpad antics when he has been subbed off in the past.

I'll remain sceptical until he stops doing that stupid shit with his eyebrows.

He is still our top goal scorer this season, which is surprising. His stats are better than his performances somehow
It’s sort of been my point all season with him. He’s been abysmal in open play most games but his attacking instincts are good enough that he gets into great positions to produce. It’s why he should just be a super sub attacking catalyst for now where he can play against a tired defense and get more space to operate.

I know it’s a bizarre metric, especially for us older posters, but his social media silence speaks volumes. If he’s sulking in any way, I’d seriously consider getting rid of him.

I reckon the club see the most value in him to sell this summer. We're not going to get a lot for Rashford and so this is the cash cow that will feed our summer spending.

He is the sacrificial lamb for Amorim and no-one saw it coming.

He'll be fine, and the same people will be coming for Amad when his form inevitably dips

If he doesn't want to be at United then he should go on the market, shouldn't be a drama either.

I honestly don't care if we end up selling him. Sure he's a big talent, but if the rumours of his attitude problems is true and he doesn't want to change. Get rid, I only want what's best for the team, and that's players who care for the team and his teammates and is willing to work hard in training, on the pitch and off the pitch.

Talent can only take you so far.

Thinks he's Ronaldo, when he's actually on par with Obertan.

Hopefully some of the senior players will bring him aside and help him

Some of the YouTubers, those who are local to Manchester, are saying something has happened, more than what Amorim is saying, and word is quickly spreading around, they expect it to leak as a story soon

That is what I heard as well, wondering how bad it can be and am worried about the answer

Why are they all skirting around this? Apparently, all of Manchester knows - that's according to Goldbridge and Howson - two very different sources.

And what the he'll is this purported transgression and who is involved?

Howson said something along the lines of he even knows the location and was laughing. I'd imagine if it was anything criminal they wouldn't laugh so my assumption is it was a fight or him/Rashford went out and got shit faced

I like his fearlessness because he doesn't shy away from responsibility on the pitch. He has that Ronaldo-like attitude of trying again and again and again until a pass or shot comes off. That's the good part. At least he's creating / finding himself scoring chances. You can see that he really wants to be that guy.

But his decision-making in the final third needs to improve a lot to fulfil his potential.
I also think it's another case of too much, too soon. Ideally he would be surrounded by better teammates and be the 3rd/4th choice, slowly learning the game and not shouldering all the responsibility. A bit like Rasmus.

Innocent until etc.

Saying that got no time for anyone with a bad attitude whoever it is - we've seen enough of it over the last few years.

He's still young I wouldn't give up on him just yet.

Considering Amorims comment about

“I pay attention to everything. The way you eat, the way you put your clothes to go to a game. Everything”.

“I make my evaluation and then I decide”.

Something might have happened.

Garnacho could improve so much if he looked to pass more often than dribbling or shooting. Of course, you can't take everything from him in terms of trying to score a goal, but his decision making has been quite off this season.

I think he's a talented player but lately his attitude has been really disappointing and the same can be said for his performances. If he's not willing to work for his place then we should sell.

I think since he first broke through his attitude/ego has been discussed openly by players/managers.

Yeah it probably is something as daft as that.

Big difference between Garnacho and Rashford is that Garnacho has time for his attitude to change. Its pretty rare for a 27 year old to completely change their approach, but plenty of younger players have mucked about before sorting themselves out and becoming great professionals - Paul Scholes comes to mind.

The same goes for the development in their play. Rashord is what he is now, he won't change much as he gets older. But Garnacho has time to get better at decision making, reading the game and so on. So I'd be happy to keep Garnacho for a good while longer, even if he is inconsistent, try and get the manager working on him.

They'd better not sell him in January ffs as most of my daughters christmas presents are Garnacho related as he's her favourite player.

Just tell her footballers are like pets, they really are just for Christmas.

Something definitely went down for him to be completely dropped not even on the bench. Maybe something like going on the piss with Rashford the night before or something in that arena.

They say he still didn’t post anything about the derby win. Why could it be, is he not happy that we win against City?
