He'll be lucky to be that good. He has none of the talent Rashford had, absolutely none of it. Inferior in all aspects. He’s our next Rashford
I've read on the caf that "only idiots want him sold". Well, performances like that make me think there's good arguments on both sides. He's ridiculously inconsistent which is natural for a young player but that chance he missed in the first half happens FAR too much. Overall play wasn't much better.
It's our own fault for trusting him as an automatic starter for two seasons now but we need money for a rebuild and there's a gamble to keeping and developing him or selling to fund part of that rebuild.
He's nowhere near good enough, his play lacks intelligence, and he's so selfish and wasteful.
What is the talent though, what is he good at?He tries. He runs. There is hope and talent. But we shouldn't be against selling him.
He is very consistent. The biggest problem is that we rely too much on such a young player in the first place. You rarely see consistency at his age.
What talent exactly? He's just not a natural goal scorer. He's clearly got talent and I'm sure he'll develop into a decent player but he'll never be a top draw player because of this huge weakness.
In an ideal world you'd have him as an impact player right now. But we have no options so he has to start. Same scenario with Hojlund.
It's promising that he gets these opportunities though, even if he increased his success rate by half he'd be on the right trackNot having a good season is he. What I will say though is that he is always dangerous. I would be more worried if he wasn’t getting into dangerous positions and getting:creating chances.
Being youngWhat is the talent though, what is he good at?
What talent exactly?
Can’t pass, won’t pass.“Alejandro Garnacho has the worst big chance conversion rate of players to have at least 10 big chances in the Premier League this season (2/14 - 14.3%).”
Criminal the way he ignored Dorgu’s overlapping runs all game.
He has an excellent first touch, particularly in taking it mid-flight. Rashford’s wasn’t that great. But yeah other than that he hasn’t got much to shout about. He'll be lucky to be that good. He has none of the talent Rashford had, absolutely none of it. Inferior in all aspects.
Totally agree.Can’t pass, won’t pass.
It’s the false confidence in his Ronaldo mindset he seems to have - of wanting everything to be on him. It’s great if you’re good enough, it cripples a team when you’re not.
