Great Grimsby MP Melanie Onn has quit as Labour's shadow housing minister.

It comes after Labour MPs were ordered to back any Brexit deal in this parliament being put to a public vote.

She has been a vocal opponent of a second referendum.

Arlene Foster..... "for the DUP the union comes above all else" in similar words

Never mind the actual people that may have voted for the party

They have said this many times. They don't represent Northern Ireland but are MPs of Great Britain.

He doesn't give a fxxk for the Honda workers or any other for that matter.
As I previously mentioned he has been busy keeping his head down hoping nothing can stick on him.
It is all about posturing I am afraid.
Afraid you are right, feck them all.

Yeah and Sinn Fein complain about Brexit and what it means for NI and go over to London appear on TV but won't actually represent people that voted them in the HoC. Any wonder NI politics screwed. Bunch of hypocrites

To be fair, they literally stand on not recognising the institution. Not a fan of them but they're not deceiving their voters with that one.

If she passes her deal and then a hard Brexiter becomes PM we are Fecked with a capital F.

Indeed. Labour rebels should think carefully before voting for the WA.

Having said that, the alternatives are either crashing out with no deal, or a two year extension, European elections and a complete renegotiation (and, probably, a general election).

What a mess!

I wonder if any of the Tories are self aware enough to realise that May is biblically offering a bribe, her resignation, to keep a small bunch of far right Tory Mps on side. A position we are in because Cameron did exactly the same with such wonderful results.

Glad they all have the best interests of the Tory party and themselves .... erm? ... the country in mind.

For the older posters amongst us (@711), is this the most chaotic time in British politics you've seen in your lifetime? Along with the most inept politicians to go along with it?

Do the DUP have to give May the £1bn back?
