Really happy he is scoring. But, let's be honest...the first one should never have gone in and the second was fairly lucky that the ball fell right onto his left foot.
Just be thankful he's actually hitting the target.

Really important goals for him. Now we need him to go on a proper run, and make up for the points lost as a result of his poor run!

The main difference between Burnley, Stoke and today: Zlatan scores.

Great to see him get his confidence back. I was worried midweek seeing him layoff around the box instead of shoot from range. Thought he'd lost his belief.

That belief is clearly back.

Well, that was needed after caf declared him dead and gone.

He obviously isn't world class anymore but his finishing was consistent enough in the last decade to know that it was just an unlucky spell and not an issue with his quality. And him and Pogba will win us lots of games with their individual brilliance, even if it will be mostly against the inferior sides.

Obviously he's gotten younger over the last few days...

He's never went anywhere, Internet forum support is incredibly fickle and a bad run of 2 or 3 games turn a bonafide beast of a player into a "fraud". Against Burnley he played well, though he should have slotted that ball pogba put on a plate right at the end, but the reaction after the match you would have thought he has been Bebe level from the start. This page already has "flat track bully" and "we will face better sides" type of replies as if Swansea hasn't done us in a few times for a couple of seasons now.

Anyways, this is a 34 year old player and he's new to the league, less than formidable days are expected, really happy that he's doing well today tho.
Good post. He's been playing well but missing chances, absolutely instrumental in our good build up and chance creation. Hope these goals give him the boost and bring some luck in front of goal.

Good performance thus far, I hope he can keep it up but we shouldn't get carried away- Swansea are rubbish.

Some of his touches have been just superb.

Meh. Never been a big game player anyway so feck it. If we go with Martial top against Arse it could be a blessing in disguise.

I don't get this. We will lose out on our build-up play without Zlatan. People think that just comes automatically.
His build up play has been absolutely diabolical in the main. It's all well and good looking decent today against the 2nd worst side in the league. Basing him on his overall performances so far I don't see his suspension as a huge negative, not against Arsenal who can be got at with pace centrally.

Of course Zlatan has to take his responsibility as well, but I find it naive from the ”pedantic” and ”tactical” Mourinho that he didn’t sub Zlatan or Pogba. Also considering the amount of minutes they’ve got under their belts.

Diabolical? Let's agree to disagree. Martial and Rashford have been at least as poor this season, but hopefully they or Rooney will show up against Arsenal.

Good performance, so pleased for him to be back amongst the goals.
Gutting he's missing the Arsenal game, i'm going up for that game!
Really hoped Pogba wasn't going to do similar, can't believe we only subbed him with 20 secs to go!

Gets himself into form and then get himself banned . #HeDoesWhatHeWants

His best game for us. Shame about the yellow card, think it was very harsh from the ref.

No game for 2,5 weeks now for him. Too much rest that.

His build up game has been very good all along. Good that he got his scoring boots on today as well!

Never doubted the goals would come. Might not be the worst thing in the world that he is banned for the Arsenal match. Will allow the manager to set us up to play on the break, although I'm not convinced with either Martial or Rashford at centre forward.

Good that he got two goals but I felt he still was too lackadaisical with the ball in good positions.

Zlatan on the yellow card..

"I thought we play in England, no? We play rough in England, that's what I heard. Every time I play rough I get a yellow card. I don't know why he(ref) gave me a yellow card, maybe I was too tired to hear what he said"

Just as he has for a while now, he was good in open play. The only real difference today was that he scored twice.

But that is a big one though, and basically sealed the game for us.

That pass to Juan Mata in the first half was just unreal.

Ive given him a fair amount of stick, but im delighted he got back amongst the goals today

He needed them badly
