His United career can't end with that injury, I don't care how long it takes sign him up
Don't think it's up to him anymore. Mourinho can basically pick any player (well almost) he wants now, with CL in the picture. As I see it - if Ibrahimovic will be ready in September or October, he might get a contract. If it's sometime during 2018, I don't think they'll continue to 'cooperate'.Surely he'll stay now?
We're in the Champions League, and if he can come back by Feb or so, the thought of finally winning that one missing medal will be a real motivation for him.
That's absolutely insane
League finish. At least he got his European title.
Any updates? I don't care what we pay him but I hope he is here next season.
I heard he is seriously considering staying after reading that banner. He's in negotiations with the man with the banner about the details.

It was the wife, posing as the husband, with that banner.

Yeah, I that's what I'm thinking too. Don't renew his contract now but take care of his recovery and then sign him as a free agent in January, if all is well. It's the best option for both sides, the way I see it. We'll get a massive boost for the end of the season and he'll get another chance to win the PL and CL.I reckon he'll be classed as a free agent and re-sign with us once he's approaching fitness. So basically January at the earliest..and bow out next summer (well maybe from competitive football if he fancies a stint in the MLS).
He looked genuinely delighted tonight.
