Gibbs is further ahead than Rafael but you don't hear us suggesting he's worth £45M or hyping him up like the second coming. 'Av a word with yourselves.
Pointless abuse with no actual content. No one's addressed why if Rafael is such a megastar he was dropped for the big game.
We went for height against city, worked well. Doesn't take away from rafaels immense talent and current level of play.
O'Shea was favoured for the derby match because of his height and his experience alongside a rookie centre back in Smalling.

You can't answer the question like everybody else?
I'm surprised the mods let pete get away with it, he belongs on thesun website writing shit at the bottom of their articles along with the 1000's of other 12 year olds, he certainly doesn't belong here.
Can any mod please explain what it is they think pete contributes? Of all the other rival supporters on here no-one comes close to Pete and his insufferable drivel.
The question has been answered pete, you just chose to ignore responses and then repeatedly claim that nobody can answer you superb insight when in fact you're just dribbling a constant stream of runny crap. SAF opted for height and experience, something which paid off as O'Shea had a good game. This concept of rotation and team selection seams to be lost on you. You and Schoesy, actually - so you're in good company.
I used to quite enjoy his posts when he kept his wumming generally to a minimum but for the last couple of months he's done nothing but be a wum and it's so incredibly tedious.
You drop Berbatov in big games because your midfield is so crap you have to supplement it. You dropped Rafael against City not because he was up against Giants like Silva and Tevez but because he's defensively suspect (two pens v Wolves and Blackpool but got out of jail).

I just picked up this thread and thought at first it was a Rafael v Wilshere comparison which is daft
However there are 2 clear ideas here
1) No argument - Wilshere is brilliant and will be the fulcrume of the Arsenal and England team for years to come.
2) Rafael - Has the potential to be a good left back but at the moment is a liability.Too many yellow and red cards. No way will he be risked in the big games for the rest of this season.

He's a right back and has played in plenty of big games. Including shutting you lot out.
I told you he was the new Glen Johnson. If Gillian says he has the potential to be a good left back then he has the potential to be a good left back.
At the end of the day, I'm going to go against the grain for the Gooners and say I quite like him. I think he's a tad overrated on this site for now, but he could well become excellent. He's shown more than just glimpses now.
Pete's part of our Care in the Community programme.
waaaaaa waaaaaaa, give me attention

Surely not another contentless post from our Nick.
Full crumb.
If you're going to misspell it, might as well go the whole hog.
Given you are meant to be a Leeds fan, I guess you are part of the same programme?
PS I was at Elland Road when we beat you in the FA Cup replay a few weeks back. Were you there? I have to say Leeds fans were great. Best chant 'We're not famous any more'. Tell me Marching do you go to Leeds games these days?
Sorry I meant right back
but you get the drift
Corrected on spelling
Well done that man
