Wilshere's price?

Find it rather amusing that the Arsenal fans all come on here (a United forum) throwing their weight around because they have had a decent result in Europe.

Didn't see any of them post after the huge cock up at St James Park.

And for what its worth, 2-1 vs Barca simply won't be enough. Expect them to give you a much tougher game at the Nou Camp. Rather than getting all high and mighty after the first leg, a typical Arsenal trait, come back when you have won the fixture. Then you might get the credit you all yearn for from United.

The thing is I dont care if Arsenal beat Barcelona in the tie, it will improve United's chances of winning the CL more than Arsenals

No Arsenal fan gives a toss what you mancs think

I don't care if I've never been to OT let alone know anything about football

Poor stuff man.

I thought you'd left after Noodles edited your post or something?

What a fanny. Arsenal, Arse and Arse fans eh?

Says the guy who posts on a Man Utd forum. If you don't care what we think WTF are you doing on here?

I think you are the deluded ones.

You spend your entire time here bitching and whining about what "us Mancs think." If you didn't give a shit, you wouldn't be here.

I am sure the vast majority of Arse fans actually don't care what we think. You do, though. Weirdo.

Then why do you post on a Manchester United forum?

Can't you do better than that?

Can't you? In fact, don't answer that. You obviously can't.

So, tell me, what is it in particular about us Mancs, that you find so fascinating? We already know that you care passionately about what we think, but, please, elaborate. Is it insecurity? An inferiority complex? Jealousy? Inquiring minds want to know. Perhaps we can help you get over this little "problem."

Thanks.I will.
I know how you feel, 18 months without a trophy from 2004 to winter 2006 were awful for us. Carling Cup were great for us then.

But 5,5 years? :wenger:

Oh, I don't know if you count Emirates Cup as a major trophy.

Nah, it's pretty straightforward really, though I know you were looking for a rise.

He was dropped because we played 451, among other things. Which meant Berbatov missed out. Which meant we needed a midfielder who could carry the ball and get close to Rooney (Anderson). Scholes and Fletcher completed the midfield. Of the front 6, only Rooney and Fletcher are any cop in the air, and Rooney was obviously going to have to stay up at times. If we'd played Rafael we'd have had only Vidic, Smalling and Fletcher and Rooney who could defend against high balls.

They'd have been facing Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Y. Toure, Barry and possibly Dzeko. O'Shea's experience along with his height was useful for a game like that.

This was pointed out to pete a few times already, Brophs, you're wasting your time. He'll just ignore it and then later claim that nobody can explain why Rafael wasn't played and cite it as evidence for Rafael being a liability.

Wilshere's price depends on Arsenal. This means that he would cost no less than 35 million pounds right now. If he has other brilliant performances in big games till the end of the seasson, the price could rise above 40 m. If City bid, it could go even higher.

Any attempt to determine a player's value without taking into account who sells and who buys is a bit daft.

There are 92 league clubs and only half a dozen of those have any realistic chance of a trophy

Why do you assume it's some divine right that Man Utd win trophies each year? You know, you mancs have been spoiled so much that it might do you good to have some barren years.Good for the soul to lose that hubris which most fans see you guilty of.

But yes, I will be over the moon if we pick up the Carling Cup next week and won't assume it's our divine right either

I was with Leeds fans

Front row of the main stand in line with penalty area opposite end to where the Arsenal fans were

In fact I was immediately behind the wheelchair fans

.......and Nasri when substituted WAS applauded off by many sporting Leeds fans!

I was above you in the upper tier 5th row from front and heard NOBODY applaud him off....not sure why we would....might admire his skill but we aren't going to show it during the fecking game. :wenger:

YEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! Leeds scored!

This is where you let yourself down Gillian and if you didn't give a toss what they think why are you on their site?

Actually it's a good forum normally and some of you mancs, to be fair, are capable of detached objectivity, so probably a bit unfair to say all mancs however many of you do seem to froth at the mouth at the most innocuous of my posts....a bit odd that

Marching see my post above wherein I made it clear that I was hasty in referring to all mancs

Edit - I'm a bit of a bumbaclart at times you see.
