Trump’s Budget Will Hit These States the Hardest

The Trump administration unveiled a budget for 2018 on Tuesday that seeks to overhaul many of the country's safety-net programs for low-income and struggling Americans. Though these cuts are popular among Republican lawmakers, they affect programs that are actually more commonly used in Republican-leaning states than in Democratic ones, and that in many cases benefit white voters without college degrees — a demographic group that strongly supported President Donald Trump in the 2016 election.

You have your opinion and Donald has the White House. That's all people really need to see. It's not his fault that people were conspiring from day one to have him removed. It's a fault of their characters.

People should be submissive and blindly support their leaders, in other words?

Trying to interact with you is a chore. If your not a wind up merchant then you're a fecking idiot.

Pretty difficult to interact with whiny liberals when they can't even put forward a coherent argument that's worth responding to.

They shouldn't be submissive to anybody, certainly not to the media's incredibly biased narrative.

What can you do? It's exactly as predicted, and as has been shown to be the case throughout recent history in Red states. It's just very sad really.
I don't think that a lot can be done. To be honest though, I consider it just fair that those who voted for Twitler get to taste his medicine. Obviously I pity everyone who will feel these cuts and didn't vote for him.

When do you think the marriage broke down? Before the primaries or after?
Bearing in mind that the Access Hollywood tape was from when Melania was pregnant with Barron Trump...

I don't entirely follow your thread of thoughts here. What is this particular character flaw that you're ridiculing, that drove people to conspire against him?

What's there to call anybody out on? Albeit discontent about a few issues, everything is going like you'd expect. Trump beat Hillary, people are sore losers, and now they're trying to undermine him at every opportunity. If there isn't an opportunity, they'll just fabricate one.

Being able to completely disregard everything in this shitstorm of a presidency and put all of his detractors in the 'sore losers' category will never fail to amaze me.

I've never once seen anyone that detests him and wants him gone actually wanting him gone because he won.

Bet he never even took her furniture shopping.

She'll get a whopping great divorce settlement at least.

Out of interest, has their ever been a divorced President? Most of their marriages seem to hold together, even if only for public reputation alone.

Whiny liberals. What's next a snowflake

I figured I'd resort to a cliché to try and get something worth responding to out of you.

Flaw? Try the plural. If I were pressed to pick one, though, I suppose I'd go for lack of critical thought. The way people get giddy when they see a headline even just hinting at a scandal is pretty ridiculous, and it's worse because they act as if they're not prone to any bias whatsoever. It effortlessly allows them to reinforce a preexisting dislike that culminates in these concerted efforts to remove him as soon as possible.

Not all of his detractors. There's no doubt that his win left a bitter taste in the mouth, with everybody fixating on the popular vote and there being fervent talk about opposing him in the run-up to the inauguration. He never stood a chance with them.

I hope she takes Trump Tower, it would break his little heart.
And make him all the more aware of his tiny hands. Then again he could be up to his eyes in Russian debt.

I think Reagan was the only one who'd been divorced previously. We're consulting the oracle regarding the during and after phases.

@Fener1907 credit we're credits due. Sticking up for your beliefs is awesome.

And here I am giving you props

Are you suggesting that people that are conspiring against him are more prone to bias and lacking critical thought than others? I see it as a valid society-wide criticism but I can't understand the link between not supporting Trump and that particular issue? If you are saying that, could you provide some justification? All the robust, nationally representative quantitative data I've seen suggests the opposite, but I'm keen to understand what leads you to believe the opposite.

Flaw. Healthcare. Females. Non whites. The wall. I've got more

1. Nope.

2. A valid criticism of a greater general problem, one that people - particularly those towards the left of the spectrum in this case - seem incapable of understanding about themselves. They readily buy into anything that reaffirms their preexisting bias, and since there is a lot of that material about, they're having a field day on the Trump issue. Of course, it's dumb to expect everybody to understand they're biased, but liberals in particular have this perception that they're invulnerable to it, hence why I'm highlighting the point. There was some recent research that covered this.

And remember that Theresa also wants to be Trumps best friend too.
It's all so bizarre. Today I saw a beautiful Trump speech in front of Saudi king (or princ or whatever) and other nice people in some big room. He talked about terrorism and how they need to eradicate it and remove it from their countries. King was moved, that was plain to see.

Not.

Think the study you are citing is basically saying liberals are as bad as conservatives where bias blind spot is concerned. Everyone thinks everyone else is more biased than they are...

Of course it leaves a bitter taste in the mouth, but do you really think it would be so bitter with ANYONE else Republican? America has had Republican presidents before, it'll have Republican presidents again but none of them, absolutely none of them will draw the ire that Trump does.

It's not about winning and losing, if it was it would've petered out by now, given we're four and a bit months into his presidency and seven months since he got elected.

People honestly wouldn't give a shit about the popular vote if Trump himself didn't either. He's the one fixated on it, he's the one constantly reminding both himself and everyone else that he won the electoral college, he's the one who was constantly reminding everyone of the 'millions of illegal voters' costing him the popular vote victory despite it getting debunked time after time and presenting zero evidence to support his claim.

The fact is, the beauty of a democracy is that it's swings and roundabouts. After eight years of the left side of the spectrum having the presidency it's not a huge surprise that the right gets a go and there'd be nothing wrong with that in balance terms (you can of course, completely disagree with the policies) except for the sheer multitude of everything wrong with literally everything to do with THIS presidency and THIS president.
